Here's a thought, Papa Johns. Join the conversation on police brutality, particularly in targeting minorities, and the continuing inequality. That's what these protests are about.
Executives from Papa John's, the official pizza company of the NFL, expressed disappointment on a conference call Wednesday about the league's ongoing player protests during the national anthem.
"The NFL has hurt us," company founder and CEO John Schnatter said. "We are disappointed the NFL and its leadership did not resolve this."
Executives said the company has pulled much of its NFL television advertising and that the NFL has responded by giving the company additional future spots.
"Leadership starts at the top and this is an example of poor leadership," Schnatter said, noting he thought the issue had been "nipped in the bud" a year and a half ago.
In revising sales estimates for the next quarter, Papa John's president and chief operating officer Steve Ritchie said on the call that the NFL deal was the primary suspect behind the decline and that "we expect it to persist unless a solution is put in place."

Of the chains, I actually like them the best. There's a small, local chain I like better, but the problem is that they don't have a location near my house.
Or it could be that you make shitty overpriced pizza that anytime I've had the displeasure of eating I end up sick the following day.

I'm actually way beyond tired of Chick-fil-A. Too salty.
By RobNBanks Go To PostPapa Johns sucks. It’s almost as bad as Little Caesar’s
At least little caesars hooked me up with hot n ready pizzas when I was broke
By Fenderputty Go To PostTheir pizza is so shitty they're one of the easiest places to boycott lol. Who buys thus shit?I actually buy their line "Better Ingredients, Better Pizza" hook, line, and sinker. It's why Chipotle's "Ingredients Matter" rings so true to me, as well. Although I can attest that I no longer believe Chipotle's ingredients to actually be exceptional.
I've also not known any other chain to provide dipping sauce as standard, in order to eat with the pizza crust of each slice as if they're versatile breadsticks. It's those little things that count to picky motherfuckers like me.
But yeah, when I'm broke, I just eat bananas as homage to our simian ancestors.
Just so we're clear...
But yes, please NFL, get those niggers in line because we're only forecasting an increase of 4% for the 2017 fiscal year and the majority of your beyond garbage fan base is taking it out on us and our franchisees.
Fourth quarter 2016 revenues were $439.6 million, a 5.5 percent increase from fourth quarter 2015 revenues of $416.8 million. Full year 2016 revenues were $1.71 billion, a 4.7 percent increase from full year 2015 revenues of $1.64 billion.Their average total production cost per unit (pizza pie) sold is less than $1.30 US. Think about that for a second.
Consolidated revenues increased $22.8 million, or 5.5 percent, for the fourth quarter of 2016 and increased $76.2 million, or 4.7 percent, for the year ended December 25, 2016.

They use canned tomatoes + a seasoning packet for the sauce. I used to work there. Nothing special.
Domino's literally has the exact same layout inside, so they make pizzas the same way.
You can really only argue their position between Pizza Hut/Little Cesar's/Dominos'
Any local pizza place or chain is going to be better.

It's kind of amazing that millions of people can collectively sigh and say "man, what can we do about these protests? We've tried yelling at them, we've tried ignoring them, we've tried patronizing them, we've tried shaming them, we've tried arresting them, we've even threatened their careers! Now it's starting to affect things we care about. We are at complete loss over what to do!"
These protests hurting one of the biggest entertainment behemoths in the nation and drawing so much attention (despite being completely pacifist) is starting to remind me of the Montgomery bus boycott.

It's irritating how the far right is trying really hard to change the narrative to "disrespecting our military." And it's clearly worked on some.

Nick Wright had a great take on it:
Whenever I hear about disrespecting the military I just think about all those homeless vets I see on the street and how the VA gets routinely docked in funding. So much lying and obfuscating.

So much lying and obfuscating.Of course, it's got nothing to do with disrespecting the military, it's about "I don't give a shit about equality." But "disrespecting military" sounds nicer than "I'm a racist/I don't give a shit about equality."
I hated the years while my finicky daughter would only eat Papa John's. Their tomato sauce is sweet and those dipping sauces are disgusting. I am glad she grew to like eating banana peppers. I eventually wised up and would buy Domino's and put it in a Papa John's box (Domino's is fine for chain pizza), then busted her when she told me that their pizza had gotten better. Now she's aware enough to prefer local places, although I dislike the current favorite for the sweetness of their sauce, too. They make a pretty good cheesesteak, though.
Crappy pizza that I only ate when they had 50% off sales. His politics and other options that don't taste like crap only sealed the deal. But yup. Blame it on the kneeling...
The Atlantic just put up a review of Papa Johns pizza:
