I thought the Salah purchase from Liverpool was a bit unnecessary, but the amount Mane is getting injured, he seems a bit more vital.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5075795/Heartbreak-Britain-s-married-man-Ron-Sheppard.html
Britain's most married man has been left heartbroken after wife number nine left him and ran off with another man before she walked down the aisle. Ron Sheppard, 69, has already tied the knot eight times and was certain he had found his 'forever wife' when he met 28-year-old Cristel Lalec. His previous eight marriages had all failed but he had high hopes for his future because he 'loved her with all his heart'. But Mr Sheppard, from Yeovil, Somerset, was devastated when he walked into her room and realised she had packed all of her things and had left.
'I loved that woman with all my heart. But I thought it was for the best I phoned the police and the Border Agency just in case she was trying to stay illegally.'
This man is a new hero of mine
'We had no love life, nothing whatsoever because she insisted she was a committed Christian and did not believe in sex before marriage.
Oh Ron...
'I respected that and hoped at least she would become my carer but she just became more distant.
'She hated my Norman Wisdom impressions, she had no idea who he was. She'd just sit there with her earphones in taking selfies and I'd have to shout her name just to get her to look at me.'

The hype around Loftus Cheek is incredible, but that Southgate quote is something else.
I say give him time to develop. Right now he's Young Ox tier.

My comment was a bit tongue in cheek just to rile laboured tbh
But I will say I just didnt even know he had those capabilities in his locker, when I look at the other graduates of his age (Chalobah, Ward-Prose, Redmond) all a quite capable players but I've never see any of them do anything of the duration of a game thats made me take a note (maybe I havent watched enough games with them in but I think I have). You can really see he's modelled his game from Ballack and I love Ballack so...
Loftus Cheek is very talented and that has been clear from the moment he got a few first team minutes. Remember especially a City match in the US where he was fucking insane. The questions is if he got the mentality to keep going at the highest level, and if he can deal with the handicap of being an English footballer.

Bears repeating that Loftus Cheek has played a tiny fraction of the football that the similar players mentioned above have played. He hasn't even managed 15 full games; just for comparisons sake, Joe Gomez who also made his England debut is 18 months younger, was injured for 2 seasons, and has still played more first team football just in the PL and not including Charlton.
Very difficult to make any kind of judgement from that amount of games. That one England game forms a not insignificant percentage of his total playtime.

Started playing Overwatch again recently -- jumped back in right at the tail end of the Halloween event. I've earned about 15 levels in the past two weeks or so. At least 12-13 of my 17 loot boxes (bought 2) have been 3 grays and 1 blue. The absolute garbage tier stuff in all of these should be criminal.
I guess it's no worse than the absolute trash you usually get from a FUT pack but at least in that there's volume and maybe one good card can set you up for ages. I pulled an Aguero last season and was set. With OW, the shit you get is just compounded.

Aguero is such a great pull. Dragged me to glory in FUT for FIFA 16.
By Laboured Go To PostMore than any other sport, or anything for that matter, in football you see constant calls to "give the lads a bollocking", "tear them a new one", "give them the hairdryer treatment", etc. whenever performances dip or there's a bad result. I guess fans feel it would be some way of expressing their own anger, and proper football men just have no idea there is any other way.
Nonetheless, that positive reinforcement works better for improving motivation and performance is one of the most well supported findings in psychology. This example is exactly how managers should behave if they want to improve.
All about context innit
After that Bournemouth game, we must have been on the floor after building up some decent confidence and momentum beforehand. After the Spurs game last month on the other hand (or at half time at least,) I expect that Klopp went ballistic.
Plus the time between a match and a flight gives a manager enough time to actually plan a strategy for keeping confidence up. They surely lose their rag when they're living in the moment.
With Coutinho and hopefully Lallana back, we should be able to deal with losing Mane for a game or two. Wouldn't be surprised if he just misses a couple of days training though.
