My favourite thing about Moyes era United is that we all knew it wouldn't work, we all knew it couldn't work, but you had stuff like that ^ because Ferguson told United fans to stand by their man.
Wow, Apparently managers never fail even if they fail horribly. Moyes just proves that there is no position for up and coming young managers in Premier League.

He had a 6 year contract
Just saw a West Ham forum poll that pitted Moyes against Pardew. Pardew won with 95% of the votes.
Safe to say it's a popular decision with the fans

I am fucking devastated. One of my students is most likely gonna die.
Only five. Caused by his older brother who is nine that I have taught for five years. Older brother seemed to have pushed the younger one, I don't know what the circumstances were.
I made a longer post in the L&S thread.
I am just praying that this kid pulls through.

Does it not feel to you like the idea that United are “in crisis” is a narrative Mou is guilty of writing himself? The way he’s reacted so asymmetrically to what doesn’t feel like that much criticism from the media has been a head-scratcher. Seems like he’s putting undue pressure on the squad to force a recovery instead of treating it like what it is, just a dry period where your best player is injured.
You’re ahead of Spurs and just beat them even, despite Spurs being the media darlings and United a “crisis” club.

Right now the press are reporting there's problems because inside sources say there is.
The problem is City
8 points is not an acceptable gap no matter how good City have been. As self-designated title challengers, they had to find a way of keeping up.

Not to mention, City has been extraordinary and on a record breaking run. They've managed to get almost everything right.
Man Utd are the only team other than City who demanded a title challenge though
Everyone else was just hoping to be in the mix, even Chelsea. Those expectations were compounded after the first 7 games or so, you're the only team who were keeping up having played against a load of shite

I think Hitch is right. There were questions regarding Chelsea's squad and ability to manage Conte's needs while juggling CL. I think they'd be happy with third. So would Spurs, Arsenal and Pool.
United and City were always the ones with something to prove.
Agree with Odd too; Mou's engineered the current scenario where everything's against us. Maybe he's trying to create that siege mentality atmosphere but we're soft lads so that will go shite.
Fuck Moyes. Found his way into a big club job by failing miserably for four years straight.
Sorry to hear that Shanks, you must feel awful. Condolences with the family.

West Ham feel like they’re going down this season. I’m also worried about Bournemouth. I feel like those two are the most in danger. Brighton is probably the other worst team
If they are relegated, they’ll have been one of the the better teams to do so. The issue isn’t that they’re an awful team so much as guys like Huddersfield, Burnley, Southampton, Newcastle, Watford... these teams have all been recently promoted and all of them are putting out performances indicative of mature Premier League clubs. The competition is really stiff this year the relegation favorites.

At this point I think you just have to accept the scenario as it stands for this year instead of what we thought it might be at the start of the season. I mean we had a club record first 8 or 9 games and were still off their pace. Next summer will require unprecedented spending from us and Chelsea to close the gap.
