Udinese 8 - 3 Perugia (Coppa Italia)
Zeman's Oddo's hand already showing. Hopefully he manages to save Udinese from relegation. I don't give a fuck about the faux black & whites, I do however plan on going to a few Serie A matches next season after a few years break and it would suck not having the new Friuli as an option.
Speaking of Perugia (it's not like they often come up…), them getting rid of Ahn Jung-hwan after he scored the golden goal against Italy for Korea in the 2002 WC is one of the most hilariously petty reactions I've ever seen.

I miss the good old times with criminal turned president turned criminal Gaucci at the helm, and with Gadaffi's son in their starting XI.
I still remember when Gaucci was a remote guest on various late night calcio shows after he fled to Santo Domingo. Calcio legend.

Have to say, RE is a nice forum and it's fundamentally the same as GAF.. but I just don't feel a strong urge to post there yet. Not that I posted a lot at GAF once the football thread left, but I at least went regularly to browse. I'm not getting that tug from RE. Feels like, ahem, the end of an era.

Feels like, ahem, the end of an era.Same here, but it's something that started on GAF long before the move to RE. I never posted much outside of the football and Star Citizen / crpg threads anyway and it's not something that's going to change on RE. Still, it's a harmless way to pass the time and get game / random news.
I think it's better than gaf so far, since anyone who supports EL abhorrent behavior stayed at Gaf. I also believe that the mods have learned well about not reinforcing a hive mind. the floodgates opened up after Hildawg lost the election since any sort of dissent from the "yasss queen" narrative was treated with great scorn by the community and the mods before Nov 9th.

Slightly amusing that a discussion on why the media don't criticise Spurs or Pochettino anywhere near as much as they do the others in the top 6 instantly turns into a reel of excuses that are never made for the others

Evans will be a target for both Premier League clubs when the transfer window opens, with Albion considering whether to cash in to raise funds for new head coach Alan Pardew.
Pep Guardiola, the City manager, is keen to add a new centre-half and failed in a bid to sign Evans in the summer as Albion stuck rigidly to a £30m+ price tag.
The absence of John Stones with a hamstring injury has heightened City’s need for defensive additions, with Real Sociedad’s Inigo Martinez also believed to be on the radar.
But it is believed Albion are already bracing themselves for another bid from the runaway league leaders for the Northern Ireland international.
Telegraph Sport understands Arsenal also made a late move to sign Evans a few days before the deadline, with an offer of around £25m rejected.
With Per Mertesacker retiring at the end of this season, Arsene Wenger is prepared to move for Evans if he receives any encouragement.
Only 18 months left on his deal but West Brom should hold out for the full amount if City or Arsenal come sniffing.

I am glad you know what our first choice team is.
Our most important player has only played in 23 out 90 PL games since the start of 2015/16.
Unless you provide me with data to backup your claim, I ain’t listening.
I am gonna sit here with my 10 hypothetical league titles and one CL trophy.
