Pulis is meeting with Albion chairman John Williams and it appears increasingly likely that the 59-year-old will be leaving the Hawthorns, possibly by mutual consent, six weeks before his third anniversary in charge.
Williams and Chinese owner Guochuan Lai discussed their next move on Sunday, after the 4-0 defeat to Chelsea, and it now seems certain that Pulis will become the fifth managerial casualty of the season in the top-flight.
Pulis endured fierce chants for his dismissal for much of Saturday’s game and appeared resigned to his fate after this drubbing against the champions. It is understood talks are already underway over the terms of his departure.
Michael O’Neill, the Northern Ireland manager, has been linked as a possible successor but sources at the Hawthorns have dismissed any suggestion of him taking charge.
The lack of credible alternatives is thought to be a major factor for Albion’s board, with Sam Allardyce unlikely to be interested. Ronald Koeman, sacked by Everton last month, could also be out of reach.
Albion will ideally want a manager with Premier League experience and recognise the risk element of jettisoning Pulis, who has famously never been relegated.
Sounds like we could get Rose in January if we pony up £40-£50m.
I'd do it. Shaw is finished at United. Danny Rose isn't exactly a top quality player but damn our left side is so so bad. I actually think it could have a mini transformative effect on the way we play, because right now the balance is never right.

Speaking of LBs, we lost Jonathan Silva for 3 months so we are now counting on Fabio Coentrão to be fit for 3 months, which now means that we officially believe that miracles can happen.

By Hixx Go To PostI love how there's fucking physical evidence of dangerous play by Carroll there and the ref doesn't care.
I think refs might completely ignore instances they didn’t see clearly because there can’t be a retroactive ban if they acknowledge it and choose to do nothing. Bit soft if true but better than players getting off Scot free.

By Hitch Go To PostI legit think of Carroll as being about 4 years younger than he isWish he never left, eh?
Surprised there's been near silence about a retroactive ban. Broke his damn nose.
The "funniest" thing is the game wasn't even 1 minute old.
Coventry Telegraph article from 2011:
Ray Ranson has revealed that Coventry City’s owners Sisu blocked a move to buy England striker Andy Carroll three years ago.
The former Sky Blues chairman says the club also had an option to buy Sunderland’s Jordan Henderson and Chelsea’s Jack Cork after their successful loan spells at the Ricoh Arena – but the board wouldn’t pay out what he insists would have been less than £2 million for all three.

I love Carroll when he's fully fit and focussed, but that happens like twice a season
When he's returning from injury, which is all the time, he's absolutely dreadful

Keane, Siggurdson are good. but the team lacks a good close finisher.
Schneiderlin... I dont know. Probably needs to get out of the EPL to regain his form.

Rose had no long-term future with us after what he did in the summer, if he weren't injured we would have sold him already. I don't think any of the fans will miss him, nobody begrudges Walker his move because he behaved in the right way and never made a stink. He was professional even if he timed his transfer request awkwardly.
If Rose thought he was going to play in the derby despite being a fat blob then he was delusional, his attitude stinks and I wouldn't be surprised if he never plays for us again. Walker-Peters deserves more minutes and we can just buy Sessegnon or Tierney in January if we need to. £50m for a guy who plays at most 20 league games a season, is great money. What we mustn't do is replace him with Luke Shaw, we need players who are hungry not players who are washed-up.
