Much better than I expected.
But to follow that up with the Bee Gees I don't know what Spotify is doing.
Their only good song imo
By FootbalIFan Go To PostOhhh wow, the way you talked about them before I thought you just recently discovered them, but incredible support m8.Nope, I just love them and it kills me that they've never become more successful because they deserve it. And it also means they never tour America which fucking sucks.
Bild reporting Sandro Wagner could move to Bayern in January, and that he's already handed in a transfer request from Hoffenheim.
Incredible. Truly the new Klose.

By Hixx Go To PostThe combat in the new Assassin's Creed is absolutely fucking shocking.I read it's imitation Souls. Then I rolled my eyes. Is that a fair assessment you think? I thought about buying it because the world looks cool, but it's $70 here on Steam. It's really funny to see the prices on Ubisoft and WB games over the past few years:
Far Cry 3: $400 (in MXN), Far Cry 4: $600, Far Cry Primal $1,000, Ass Creed Origins/Far Cry 5: $1,300. It's like, I get the exchange rate is volatile (thanks Trump, I guess) but the peso has just gone from around 17:1 USD to 18.5:1 USD in that same period of time. It really limits one's spending power when things go 3x times more expensive in 5 years, but your salary grows at a snail's pace.

The fighting controls are vaguely similar, I guess? R1 attack, R2 strong attack. You lock on. You can raise your shield (seems pointless so far tbh), you can parry. It just fucking sucks tho.
It is very pretty though.

I'm finding it tough to tell in AC whether my shield is even up, or if it's just being broken all the time
GotY tho. Not bored of the world yet, if that happens my enjoyment will tank.

By Oddinho Go To PostCyberpunk having “online elements” isn’t exactly what you wanna see. They said they wanted to build it as a "seamless drop in, drop out" game from the beginning. I don't know what that means exactly, but people have pointed at Watch Dogs 2 as an example. (Haven't played it).
As long as it still feels optional I can live with it, but I agree it's not good news and I'm wary. They also said that they'll never make a game without an online component again, so I don't know what to expect.
Cyberpunk may be the first game I play properly from them, gave up on witcher a decent way through because I hate that type of fantasy and i played it just after bloodbourne so the combat wasn acceptable to me.
By Elchele Go To Posteat schalke, milchHave some mercy with me, I already feel like I ate Schalke today mate, goddamn South-American girls.
I never got the complaints about how the witcher controlled, after they added in that other movement option (which i believe they did really early). The combat left something to be desired still for sure, although I didn't think it was terrible, it became too much at some point with very little learning curve or new twists to it, it just became too boring, but the overall movement was fine.
By Lunatic Go To PostStill never got how much of a problem people had with the combat. Some people dont have any self respect
The horse controlled worse than Sonic 06

Witcher combat was fine. Enemy feedback on contact was a bit lacking, and geometry could get in the way, but other than that people act like it was Risen or Gothic 3 or Morrowind levels. Something like the first Mordor game was way less engaging and stupidly exploitable, and that's supposed to have "good" Batman style combat.

Consistency in timing is everything really
Any game with good melee combat gives you a predictable amount of time between you performing an action, and that action actually happening. A light sword attack in TW3 can take anywhere between like 0.1 and 0.5 seconds to connect, which is shit. And you don't have full control over how long it'll take since its left to the whims of whichever animation the game has decided to use.
There are certain things about TW3 that are legit terrible imo, which goes to show how strong it is in other aspects that its still a great game

The one legit fucking horrible thing, is the batvision shit for simple shit quests, of collecting and finding clues. Fuck that shit. Was made even worse with that camera zoom in effect.

I haven’t played a Witcher game all the way through yet, but I’m really looking forward to Cyberpunk. Having some online isn’t a bad thing at all but vague statements like “online elements” makes me fear loot boxes

At least I hope not, and they've been very resistant to the more egregious forms of dlc.
But I can't speak as if I knew what they are thinking either. They are publicly traded and getting bigger all the time too, so at some point you'd think they gotta follow the big pub trends.
By Cleff Go To PostJustice League getting them mediocre reviews. That's as likely as Arsenal winning the league.
Will still push €1B at the box office.

Yeah, that’s my concern as well. It feels like an inevitability that every pub moves toward a microtransaction model.
