Good game for Weston McKinnie so far -- just missed getting his 2nd goal during his debut. Been very good for Schalke this year from what I've heard and is starting regularly. Looks to have a bright future ahead of him.

The past few years it became pretty clear that the direction the gaming industry is going is nowhere I want to be. I don’t think EA is doing anything especially bad with SWBF2, it’s just standard protocol in 2017 for a AAA game. The way the community manager responded was certainly patronizing but the dude is just doing his job, and besides, no matter what he writes, the decision to make SWBF2 the kind of game it is was decided years ago.
And I agree with him to an extent, in that there should be meta challenges and goals to work toward in the long term. I find it a little bit arbitrary that the expectation is to be able to play a unique, named character in a game primarily about infantry battles. The fact that Luke and Vader can be unlocked more quickly through loot boxes sucks noodles, but yeah, just seems like standard shit for AAA Gaming.
