By TurokTTZ Go To PostCR7 > Benzema > Suarez > Lewa > Auba/Ibra. my top 5 cf currently.
Not adding mehssi because Mehssi is more of an AM than he is a CF. CR7 has been essentially a CF since last season. Both CR7 and Benz are off in form atm but dare not underestimate them. Form is temporary, Class is permanent.
…wait where does nerman fall in this? is he a cf or is he on the wing nowadays?

By Kidjr Go To PostThere is no way you can have saurez in front of kane past seasonSuarez 38 goals 17-18 assists vs Kane 35 goals 7 assists last season. I won't judge a CF who's currently on bad form to be lesser only 3 months of football in. Way too early for that. Suarez is a lot more accomplished than Kane too. Though I dislike using stats as Suarez has a completely different profile vs Kane. Comparing apples and oranges.
I don't even like Suarez but i won't deny his quality. Just because he's shit now won't mean he will be shit later. Sorry if I'm trying to be objective.

It's a cake walk to score in that Barca team -- what last season showed is how much Neymar underperformed.

If you wish to compete against Real Madrid or Barcelona, classic nines are obsolete and are not the way to go.
At Real Madrid, if all you can do is score goals, then you don't belong here. A Real Madrid centre-forward is expected to do much more than just score goals. It's half the reason why Benzema get so much leeway. His link up and play making ability is valued greatly. Especially when the main goal threat is Cristiano Ronaldo. Real Madrid do not require pure Strikers we require multifaceted forwards who can do it all.
It's why we were after M'bappe last summer who was far more talented than Harry Kane. Can play all forward positions, can shoot, can dribble, pass. Could do it all and was supposed to be Benzema's successor. Benzema would be his mentor and help fully realize his potential. Damn you PSG... Ruining my dreams of a Benzema 2.0.

I think it's a little unfair to compare goals, considering Suarez got 37 to Kane's 35, but having played in some 13 games more than Kane. It's hard to really judge, because I don't know how many minutes were played, etc.
I do agree though, that it's maybe a little early to judge them against each other in their entirety, and also that Suarez is more accomplished, but Kane has absolutely been the better striker in 2017 for me at least.
