SLAENT, what's the best (commercial) Burger Place?
What do you feel has the best burgers? I've only been in the Midwest and EC regions of the U.S. so I can't speak on what goes on the WC, but I really dig Five Guys and White Castle.
As far as the ones I've tried, Five Guys and Whataburger.
The latest hype nowadays in Texas is In-N-Out.

Hopdoddy had some amazing burgers in Austin and Burgerfi is pretty damn good in South Florida.
Both are chains, but I don't know how far they reach.

for many years i always went with In-n-out,
but when i heard about The Habit, and when i went there, i haven't gone back to in-n-out since.
The Habit is the truth, y'all.

1100 today suck my dick
Out of the chains, it's Five Guys. I haven't tried any others than McD, BK and Swedish chains Max, which is better that the other two that I just mentioned. There are two smaller Swedish chains; Enelly's and Texas Star which are awesome.
But the burger market has really exploded here in the last couple of years and you can get some really awesome burgers that are a little bit more expensive but the meat quality is so much better. So if you're ever in Stockholm, try Flippin' Burgers, Barrells or Bun Meat Bun. So awesome and damn it now I'm hungry.

In N Out is still the best for me. If I want to pay more for a burger, I have better options than places like The Habit, or Five Guys, or The Counter. Price/Quality ratio for In N Out makes it the best chain burger place imo.
Fatburger is pretty great, from what I can recall (been a while). As far as fast food goes, Jack in the Box has this amazing black pepper concoction.
Haven't found a burger joint that'll cook 'em the way I like since I moved to Cinci, tho.

Depends on where you live. US then I say Hardee's if you don't have one of the new hip ones around(In N' Out, Five Guys, etc.)
Five Guys and In-N-Out. Great stuff. But since both of those are dependent on where you live, it's all a matter of luck and preference
You know if you are ever in a state that has it you should try Braums. Their burgers are so good and fresh. Hell everything they make is awesome. Their third pound bacon cheese burgers though. Man I could eat those every day. In fact they're the only hamburgers I'll have mayo on. I hate mayo on burgers but their mayo actually tastes good on it.
In-N-Out by a pretty wide margin. Consistency, quality, great service, low prices.

Fuddruckers belongs on the list but they aren't necessarily quick at any place I've been too
Still, 1lb burgers? #mericuhasfuck

By RedPanda Go To PostIn N Out. Apparently, it's better in Cali than the out of state locations.
Yeah, of course it is. Where did you hear that? From someone California person who thinks everything is better there obviously? SHUT UP.
Smash Burger and Five Guys are good too.

YOU SHUT UP. I was reading about people's experiences at In N Out and it was something that was brought up enough for me to remember.
I'm sorry you're having such a hard time coping with how sucky Arizona is.
You're right. Every delicious In N Out burger I've had, deep down I was thinking "

By HasphatsAnts Go To PostIt's Shake Shack.you know what is incredible?
The potato bun is incredible.
slider burger made with King's Hawaiin buns.
I think White Castle is pretty good. I rarely go get fast food though and when I do it's In-N-Out.
Prefer to make my own hamburger at home or go to a good restaurant for it.

The crisp vegetables and proportions of meat, to cheese, to veggies to bun comes out just right.

I love the burgers from Five Guys, but my favorite Burger joints are Burgatory and Fatheads (commercial I guess? to PA and OH). Basically...any place that throws fresh jalapeños on a burger is my kind of place.

Sweet baby jesus.
Where can you get that?

Definitely 5 Guys and Whataburger for me. Unfortunately I don't live anywhere close to either one of them, but in 2 weeks, I'm flying down to Texas to meet up with another ENTer, so I'll get some Whataburger then.
From what I've tried:
In n out > the habit > five guys > everything else that isn't my local gormet burger joint

In Vancouver, Vera's Burgers and Harvey's were really good.
Portland had a good one (although tiny and bite size for me) called Little Big Burger.
For Nebraska, Hardee's (costs $texas though) and Sonic's (also $$$$) are pretty good for chains. Runza (a Nebraska chain) is supposed to have good burgers but I don't eat there.
