Having a simple juggle system that isnt DMC style is cool as well. Im not sure they will be to pull of the changes to the combat after 1 game on top of adding open world elements but we'll see.

I'm really looking forward to what all the changes will mean. Hopefully it all works out and this will be the next evolution of musou games.
After nearly 50 of them, I'm certainly ready for something a bit different, even though I'm loving Fire Emblem Warriors right now.

I just picked up 8 Xtreme on Steam. No support over 1080p, it seems, but whatever. This is first DW I played since I last touched 3 on PS2. Man, it's nice to be back. I can turn my brain off and smash through waves. Did I miss anything worth checking out between 3 and 8? I notice a few spin-offs like "Empires" and the like. Xtreme seemed to be the definitive at the time.

Definitely have my eyes on 9.

I am so ready.

Early year again packed as hell with japanese games.
