Total worldwide shipments and digital sales for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age have exceeded one million units, Square Enix announced

This seems great for a remaster.
That's....quite a bit. Imagine FFVII Remake numbers, but that wont literally be done for years. Probably PS5 tbh.

When it came out I did not like FFXII. Loved the world but not the gameplay or the way the story was told. However, a few years later (and after playing Xenoblade) I realised I simply didn't like the change from X's ATB system to the more MMO-ish one. Once I made my peace with the change I saw how great XII actually was. Although I still maintain the story was told in awkward way.
Now I have been holding off from buying the remaster because I have this completely unfounded idea in my head that it'll come out for Switch and I will be able to play it on the go. Just as I did with X on the Vita. I'll give it till early next year before pulling the trigger on the PS4 version if nothing else is announced.

Glad that this is doing that well for them and I hope they delve more into remasters of Matsuno's Square-Enix output.
And by that I mean I want a remastered Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Tactics Ogre Let Us Cling Together

Congrats. XII is good, International is great, TZA is what we needed. That ridiculous Kotaku article needs to be put in its place.
Great game. If you never played it and it wasn't to your liking back then, I'd say give it a try again.

This is excellent. Congratulations to my favorite game of all time (probably). I haven't played the PS4 version due to time and life but hopefully some day. I just wish all the game I like to play weren't 100 hours of my life that I don't have anymore :(.
Excellent results for an excellent game. I loved it when it first came out and Zodiac Age was even better. Reminded me of a time when I could count on SE's FF teams to make good games consistently.
