Yeah, I wasn't really feeling her for a bit because I got to know her friends and they're the type that like to gossip and act stuck up, so I kind of left it alone because she's always with them.

I was speaking to her a few days ago, realized she'd be fun to take out, so I said fuck it, but had to do it in a lame way since I only see her once a week sometimes. Her friends don't like me because I don't fuck with them, so they're gonna say some bullshit. Whatever.

Can't do too much about the friends (and honestly the friends hating you can be a good thing, you never know - some people look for a certain kind of social balance like that).

Might've been a tad bit extra with the length of the note, but you know her and I obviously don't. Sometimes you just need to get things going with a few texts back and forth instead of an invitation like that. Hope it all works out!

Thanks for the response. I do feel like it was a bit much for me to write the note, but I feel that was the best way for me to reach her at this point. Also, I like to plan in advance, so the earlier she knows, the better. She might have not been there yesterday, so that may be the reason why she didn't respond. We'll find out eventually.
