Naito got screwed.

I’m more concerned that they’ll move off of Naito again and move forward with Omega (who deserves it admittedly)
By The Frankman Go To PostHe gonna hang that dude upside down like Batman.
Bat Brain to the rescue last night.
Also WWE getting my hopes up that they aren’t going to screw up Bálor Club. But they will. Somehow.
RAW 25 TONIGHT!
Everything I'd normally watch it early on is down from sheer amounts of traffic - so I'll be watching the west coast live version. Hope it's a good show!
Also - first post will be updated with Royal Rumble card on Wednesday evening once we're through and hopefully have a final card.
LOVE Y'ALL!

NEW THREAD
Ultra bump for some unexpected and troubling news.
PROVIDENCE — In the opening moments of Raw, Roman Reigns emerged to announce that he had been living with leukeimia for 11 years and the disease's return would force him to relinquish the Universal Championship and take a leave of absence from WWE.
Dressed in street clothes, The Big Dog mingled briefly with fans at ringside before dropping the persona of Roman Reigns to address the WWE Universe as Joe and detail his history of living with leukemia. In an emotional but optimistic address, Reigns recounted his initial diagnosis and remission in late 2008 and thanked the WWE Universe for making his dreams come true. He said he was going to go home to focus on his family and health, but made one thing clear on the way out: “This is by no means a retirement speech.”
Speaking of the “faith” that had carried him through his life, Reigns promised the WWE Universe that he would return to “swing for the fences” at whatever curveballs life threw at him, with a final sign-off before a tearful embrace with The Shield atop the ramp: “I will beat this, and I will be back, so you will see me very, very soon.”
Man, Darby Allin really is one of the breakout stars of AEW, every match he's been in has been great.
Getting a little hyped for that PPV.

The fans are hungry for new shit, new blood. How long before you get a second influx of WWE talent into AEW? As it is people are calling for everyone's favorite teen drama star Chad Michael Punk to head over there.
I don't think that many more WWE guys go over. Most of them take the money eventually, like Gallows and Anderson did this summer, or they have so many more years left on their contract that they can't even entertain it.
Marty Scurll is going to be free soon, though. I expect he's bound for AEW.

Think AEW is more interested in working something out with NJPW than getting any more WWE guys.
I mean I'd rather have Naito on my shows than Kevin Owens, but that's just me

I've a lot of hope for Balor as a heel. He's excellent as a sleaze/scumbag. Also, it says a lot that I've much more faith that NXT will do him justice than Raw or Smackdown would. He was criminally underutilized on the main roster.
You guys know that this isn't the right thread? I got so confused even I posted here.

she was one of my favorites and absolutely destined to be a big star in the E. Her harassers should be labeled as murderers.

Hana Kimura story is so disappointing and sad. She was legit destined to be a star, great talent, great look, great personality and apparently great outside the ring too. To have it be because of cyber-bullying is just so appalling. Definitely go after the harassers.
I have only seen a couple of Han Kimura matches. It's a shame that the cyberbullying was so intense in Japan that she was all-consumed by it and is now dead. Anyone that did send bullying tweets should be banned from Twitter and prosecuted. She can rest in peace now.
Thankfully after this shitty week the wrestling world had AEW's Double or Nothing PPV delivered. The covid-19 era of things sucks for multiple reasons and I missed out on another trip to Vegas, but it has caused the companies to get creative and not just deliver 3+ events matches in empty arenas or slightly populated arenas like AEW has been doing. I'm about to watch the Stadium Stampede match a second time and try and catch the stuff I missed the first time around.

I was looking for this thread and couldn't find it last night. Did realize it was still the 2017 thread. Anyways, there has been an outpouring of love and admiration for Jon Huber. No one has had a bad word to say about him. He has respect for everyone and most importantly his family. It's a shocking death and he'll be missed. His squash of Cody in August 2020 is one of the best wrestling related moments of the year.
He will be missed.
AEW's tribute show to Jon Huber was incredibly moving tbh. They've posted a lot of clips to YouTube already. Here's their closing video to end the show.
KENTA made has AEW debut last night taking out Jon Moxley. Dave Meltzer confirmed that AEW and NJPW are now in a working relationship. We may well see AEW, NJPW and TNA wrestlers appear on each others shows going forward.
AAA aswell because Kenny holds the AAA title no ?
Also, I saw a Yoshi wrestler competing for the Women's Elimination challenge.

This is really not any goofier than anything else they do with Matt Riddle. He's a comedy wrestler that does stupid things like ride around a Razor scooter and got the US title only because Keith Lee got hurt. Dude literally forgot his promo lines the other week for a pre-taped spot and Vince kept it in the show anyway. (Matt Riddle sucks, btw.)
WrestleMania should honestly be good, though.

Matt Riddle is an excellent pro wrestler and could.easiky be the next Kurt Angle if he or WWE wanted it that way. He's one of the very few legitimate athletes in the company. But he's far too laid back to ever really push it.

Riddle will keep being employed by WWE for a long time because Vince think he's hilarious. So he'll always have that.
Idk if anybody watches AEW, but I'm happy to say I was involved in this clip below:
I provided the Lamborghini and linked the owner with the production staff. I offered up my cars, but Jericho INSISTED black only (mine are blue).

Yo what that's dope and I love AEW. It's the only wrasslin promotion I watch.

Yeah, I can see them insisting on black because "cooler".

By domino Go To PostCesaro finally got to shine 😭He was really over when he was teaming with Tyson Kidd! The Bar was popular, too, but neither helped Cesaro as a singles wrestler.
Feel like he was over af like 5 years ago
I think the question now is if they can actually capitalize on his momentum. He beat a main event guy in a singles match at WrestleMania, so hopefully they actually have some kind of plan here (that isn't the Intercontinental Championship).
