By Cartoonic21 Go To PostThere is no way that Survivor Series lives up to this Takeover.Takeover is always better IMO, the last one before this had WWE's best match of 2017 with Bate vs. Dunne.
This may have been one of the strongest Takeovers I’ve seen.

I’d argue Dream vs Black was actually better from a story telling perspective.
Definitely always better than main roster PPVs. Just hoping the lineup for Survivor actually pulls something good out.
On a recent episode of Wrestling Sheet Radio, James McKenna reported Vince McMahon pitched an idea for James Ellsworth to take on Charlotte for the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 34.
“The goal was to get to Charlotte vs. Ellsworth at Mania for the Women’s Championship. How they were going to get there is a much wilder tale. We’re talking about as recent as August, these were pretty much plans they had in place. Long story short, it was to make Ellsworth trans.”
Vince gonna Vince
Velveteen Dream is gonna be great, but this gimmick has to go if he wants to have a serious run on the main roster.
AJ vs Brock is every bit the absolute garbage I expected. Go away, Brock.
e: this turned very good after we got done with the Suplex City bit. I spoke too soon!

Yeah that match went from bad to great real fast - glad Brock gave AJ a chance to work.
Saw Fozzy live this weekend, pretty good time.
Had a Belgium is Jericho sign with me and he signed it.
To bad I ruined it by getting beer all over it.

AJ/Brock was very good. My match of the night anyway. A few botches but that's to be expected from guys who've never worked together before. AJ is one of the best wrestlers in the world and Brock can be at that level when he's motivated which he was tonight.
Watched Brock v Styles. That was decent. Lesnar looks like he's in shit shape. Styles seems sharp though.
Also watched the women's title match. Thought that was excellent too. Never seen the short blonde Alexis before but I thought she looked and moved great. Do people like her?
I didn't realize they went back to the two brands with multiple champions again. Think that is beyond dumb and makes me less inclined to tune in.

Alexa Bliss, her best quality is on the mic and shes a perfect heel; so yea people 'dont like' her, but shes great.. Shes got a pretty simple moveset for the most part, but executes well. Used to be a cheerleader.
Interesting that they've put 5 NXT women total (6 I guess if you count Paige) between Smackdown and RAW now, hoping it's actually part of something bigger. Maybe a full blown NXT women's invasion that leads to a women's royal rumble match somehow?
Yeah, I feel like they don't run the same angle on Raw and SmackDown for no reason. Or maybe they do, I don't know, Vince does what he wants.
I'll be curious to see if Ruby Riot can work heel, though. I liked her face work in NXT.

By Koko Go To PostRuby would be fine.
Liv in the other hand….
Liv is the only choice of call-up that baffles me - she's literally Carmella 2.0. And heel or face doesn't change that.
I saw her at a Smackdown house show 3/4 months ago. She filled in for Charlotte during the Ric health scare with Becky and Naomi vs. Natalya, Mella and Tamina. She held her own and got a decent pop.
Saw Ruby at an NXT a month ago and she KILLLLLLED it, the whole crowd was behind her.

Almost everyone Liv started with at the PC has been called up. Pretty sure shes the last one out of the group of women who made it.
I'm surprised that of all their women call ups, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce are still down in NXT.
What do they have left to do in developmental?

By Slizz Go To PostI'm hyped for Nixon Newell to finally debut on NXT. Sucks she got injured before the Mae Young.
Yeah - I'm hoping this sudden call-up of some of the mid-card of NXT's women division means more of the Mae Young participants are going to start working NXT TV. Vast majority haven't had much other than jobber matches.
Didn’t actually watch last night - heard from a bunch of east coast friends it was pretty bad.
Excited to see they’re possibly moving ahead with Broken Matt finally - just hope that abysmal reaction from the crowd doesn’t kill it quickly.

We all know WWE Broken is going to be nowhere near as fun as, self-funded and total creative control TNA Broken.
I need to go see footy and wrestling in the UK. This brings me back to the ECW days, but everyone is a whole lot safer now(good thing)

I love this man.
Ric out here having the time of his life - good for him!
I'm gonna get to meet Glacier next week for free :lol
I can't believe a municipality in Miami is putting on a free wrestling show for the public.
Darby Allin is that dude, seen him already 3 times. Just an absolute mad man. Fucking Coffin drop in a chair.
I’ve been slow I know (I missed updating for the final world tag league card :( )
But I will update tonight with the Clash card and the WK12 card now that it’s pretty much set in stone (JERICHO HYPE!).
Thanks for bearing with me!
Edit: maybe not tonight, my computer is giving me issues, will be updated before this weekend I swear!

The only thing WWE related I've seen in the last couple weeks is Woken Matt Hardy and the Reigns/Cesaro match I randomly caught last night (which was good, but damn, Roman, don't no sell all the work Cesaro did to your arm).
They mostly seem to be treading water until the Rumble and also dealing with the self-inflicted wound of their champion not being on TV.

So pretty much the same issue they have had for the last however many years?
Royal Rumble usually always ends up being the main driver of storylines for 2-3 months but before that you can forget about it. Long term booking doesn’t exist.
US title match was more fun than I expected and the tag is good so far.
Pleasantly surprised by this card two matches in!

I have enjoyed this ppv more than I expected. Even though I knew the KO/Zayn match was going to have a screwy ending.
I just don't know what they're building toward here if Bryan can't wrestle.

Definitely feels like they’re spinning their wheels if they don’t plan on having DBry wrestle.
That just feels like where this story is heading.
Was just about to post how much better the Smackdown Tag Team division is compare to 8-10 months ago.
But of course they have The Usos lose clean because reasons.

Yes well technically tonight depending on where you live. Starts in about an hour (preshow at least).
I expect a solid show - which I will see GIFs of tomorrow morning and then most likely watch tomorrow night after work!
