Furnace Fest did a good job of getting every single one of the bands I listened to in jr high and high school
I only really wanted to see Cave In though and that didn't really seem worth the trip.

Seeing this next month: https://www.tso.ca/concert/tchaikovsky-violin-concerto-0
Actually really fucking hyped because I haven't seen a live orchestra in a few years. Last time we went was back in 2017 to see The Nutcracker ballet in Toronto, and that was just brilliant. Told myself one of my post-pandemic goals is to attend and support more local music and performances.

Seeing Idles at the Brixton Academy this week. Can't even remember when I bought the tickets as its been delayed more than once but I wish I waited until this week as they are going for cheaper than face value on twickets because of covid. Probably going to be a bit of a super spreader event but I am triple vaccined and at some point you just got to get on with it.

Inshallah brothers. Would like to see them as well, maybe at Primavera, although I only got tickets for the first day so far.
Both arctangent and primavera with amazing lineups

Come watch the armed day one, coward. Will be a rotating band and it will be great fun. I will be playing cowbell.
That first day though, woof. Going to be real busy. Turnstile, Otoboke Beaver and Lingua Ignota are also all must sees for me. Then I also kind of want to see Massive Attack, Tame Impala and Black Midi.

if it's possible i will go and see you play cowbell.
i just hope it doesn't overlap with 100 Gecs, Charli XCX, Lingua Ignota or Rina Sawayama
Tame Impala plays both weekends so i could catch them later.

Idles were awesome the other day.
I also managed to get a ticket last minute to see Turnstile last night which was great but I was sitting up in the balcony which was a bit weird as most people remained sitting down for the whole gig whilst people were completely losing their shit downstairs.
Hopefully going to see Gojira in March

Damn, would have liked to see both too. A friend of mine went to one of the turnstile UK show and has bruises all over after 👀
Yeah the whole crowd was bouncing downstairs and I haven't seen so much crowd surfing in a long time. Whilst it did look fun I am half glad I was upstairs as I am such an old man now I would be dead and I had to get up early this morning to take my kid to nursery before work.
By faridmon Go To PostSeeing Pip Blom on Monday
First Gig in 2022, hope its a start a of many!
Ah that’s really cool! Had no idea she tours the UK. I’ve seen her at a festival some years ago and it was quite fun.
Got tickets for Villagers, Fontaines D.C, The War on Drugs, The Cure and Primavera for this year myself. Gonna try to get a ticket for Lowlands Festival next week

Friends gave us free tickets to Julien Baker, Angel Olsen, and Sharon Van Etten. Went last night and great performances - Sharon’s set was easily the best and the place erupted when Comeback Kid was performed.
By Xpike Go To PostGoing to go watch Coldplay later
This is for you bud

Also didn’t realize she’s thicc she was wearing some pink latex body suit and Mashallah brother

Deafheaven were very good. Hadnt seen them live since 2014, but they really have grown their sound live since as well.
Manage to get some free tickets to see Future Islands last weekend at Crystal Palace park. I am probably biased cause its local but as outdoor venues go its probably the best around London cause its in a natural bowl.
Future Islands singer has great stage presence and some moves but man his voice live was not what I was expecting. Once you got past that though they did put on a great show and really captured their audience. Never seen so many middle age hipsters absolutely losing their shit dancing about.

Arctangent in a few weeks and then Soulfly August 31st but only because there's pussy at the end of it.
