The hardest part is that they would have been 3-4 months younger than my youngest nephew. Which is probably why I'm always with him. These are the times I think about drinking heavy 😐
In case anyone was interested, I met that woman during my time at Porto.
It was a lovely day, we met for lunch at a city that's almost halfway between Porto and Lisbon, I say almost half way because it took me 1h20 by bus and 2h for her to get there and she another 45 minutes on the subway and driving to get home, meaning that she spent more than 5 and half hours on transportation just to be with me on her day off.
We were together from 1 PM until 8PM, had lunch and spent most of the day just walking around and talking.
She only touched her phone twice, once to send a picture to her sister when I went to buy a water and another to answer a message of her sister.
Other than that, it was all about her and me, her parents called her a few times but she said she would call them back when she was on the bus back home.
She said at the end of the day that she never felt more relaxed and at peace on a day off as she did with me on that day.
We talked about past relationships and she said that she wasn't with someone since 2015. That and thinking that she is turning 40 next year got a her a bit down.
We made plans for next year as she just started a new job and can only have vacation days in Abril, she is probably coming here in May and we might go together to some other country later in the year.
There was some hugs, kisses on the forehead and she tickled me. I didn't move forward with something else because I know her.
We need some days together because kissing her and leaving right after would be terrible and it's not something she wants.
We are keeping in touch, I am moving with my life, started a diet and I am working out to drop some weight, going to be social and meet new people but the plans with her stay open until something changes of either of us.
