I broke up with a girl I was seeing for a month. I was really, really into her, she's extremely attractive and has a cute personality but has a high bodycount, history of cheating and constantly brings up her ex in conversation. She had mentioned several times she doesn't wanna make the mistakes she had made before in her life anymore, that she's full of red flags and I should really consider whether she's the right person for me.
This weekend she said she didn't want to meet with me so she could party with her friends and stay overnight at their place. This party would consist of both singles/couples, with friends she knows but also some strangers. There would be alcohol and drugs at this party.
I told her I wanted to be with her there since she's staying overnight but she refused, she said it'd be awkward even though there are people there she doesn't know either. Then she tried gaslighting me for saying I'm overpossessive and insecure or whatever, but to me this just seemed fucking wrong. At the same time, it also sucks that she's proactively having to deal with her past mistakes not involving you and you're sorta punishing her for things she didn't do to you.
