The last 3 women I've dealt with have all said I'm disconnected, cold and distant. I told them before we started dealing with one another I'm not interested in a relationship with them, yet they get involved and think they can "fix" me and after we get physical they're surprised I haven't changed and get angry at me. After we argue, they tell me to forget about them and I do, then I get the late night angry texts or subliminal IG posts. I'd like to shake this apathy too, I would love to meet someone and connect but I'm developing bad habits now of just not caring especially since the flight attendant and I stopped dealing with one another cause of the distance, I wanted something with her but we couldn't make it work. My brother in law's sister wants to hook me up with her cousin, but I told her that's not a good idea cause I don't want any bad blood if/when it goes bad, same for my mom's friend whose daughter has had a crush on me since we were kids, she's actually very much my type just that it would basically end my moms lifelong friendship if/when it goes bad.

Therapist? Nah....I'll just change up the type of women I'm seeing and look for more substance, and stop getting involved with women who I know I won't be interested in outside of their looks. I was ready to be in a relationship with a flight attendant, but we couldn't make the distance work and she wasn't going to move here so it has just left me tired of dating, plus I do the stupid shit of comparing other women to her.
Also, my luck is terrible in terms of timing. I was with my ex for years right, the relationship ends literally 2 months after I met, worked with and lost contact with someone who was everything I've wanted in a woman and she was interested in me as well. I didn't get her number, email, nothing since I'm a sucker that doesn't cheat, never went out with her to lunch or dinner when she asked. As soon as my ex and I broke up I tried to find her, she had no facebook, no IG, no snap, no twitter....nothing until a few months ago and she popped up on linkedin and has a hyphenated name now
So yeah, those are the last two women I've wanted a relationship with, and why I'm very much apathetic now. I feel I missed my chances, the universe gave me two shots and I airballed both.
