Hey y’all, haven’t forgotten about you.

I haven’t posted much in here because there isn’t much drama to speak of. Thankfully, my life is honestly and truly the best it’s ever been on a personal level. There was an incredibly difficult period where her father passed away early last month and she could not return home to the funeral because of me. (Not being able to return back afterwords). But she has handled the ensuing days better than I could have imagined.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and soul searching and I’m tired of the stress and fear that has gone along with her green card. Every day waking up, holding my breath and waiting for “the letter” to come in the mail. While the green card is one issue, I know for a fact I want to spend my life with this woman. I have decided I’m going to ask her to marry me on Christmas Eve. She has given me every indication she would say yes and frequently talks about our future and love for each other. We have already lived together for close to a year and I don’t think much changes after the fact of marriage in daily life. Maybe I can be corrected here.

Going out tomorrow with a friend who told me recently that she is small and tight (yes, she was referring to "that*) yet she is pushing me towards a friend of hers.
Our usual group is the 2 of us and a couple but the couple is off on vacation for the next 4 weeks so it's going to be just us 2 for a while.
Life is quite confusing sometimes, she treats me as a friend but she also made a mad face when I returned to our group table after a girl I knew went after me to buy me a drink.

When you get older you realize some people don't even want to screw or have relationships with others, they're just kind of territorial assbags.

That's a bit how I am feeling about this but the whole thing is a bit strange. She brought a date to one of our group night outs but ended up talking more to me than him and we have a playful relationship so we have some inside jokes that leave that rest of the group in the dark.
Last week we were on a friend's birthday dinner and I had my sleeves rolled up when when she out of nowhere starts caressing my arms and says that she likes a man with hairy arms.
There's that and the times she tried to describe me in detail how her sex life was, that made me a bit confused as I find her attractive and our personalities go well together.
I was the one who pushed for her to get me together with her friend as she doesn't seem interested sometimes but she either seems glad about the possibility of me and her friend hooking up or she is completely dismissive of the situation.
Earlier today I talked with her about we going to the other side of the island as she told me yesterday that her friend was pushing her to go there this weekend and she never mentioned her friend.
I am used to having female friends and I know that they can be a bit possessive, I also know how she has very little male friends right now (at least ones who don't immediately hit on her) and she is also glad to have someone to go out dancing all night but some of her behaviours are a bit strange.
It's probably nothing but I felt the need to vent here.

This could go in life too but I figure I'd post here. Man I sometimes forget just how ignorant I can be. I live in the internet age and think I know everything but you really don't know until you're with someone who's been preyed on. I was talking to her the other day and she was telling me how even though she trusts me but in a sense she ALWAYS thinks about the fact that I could easily overpower her. That one of our mutual friends, or nearly any guys, she can't be one on one with because they COULD do something.

I just never even thought of it that way. Like I always thought girls were on their guard for guys acting weird but I never realized they were that way around guys just because they could physically do something. It made sense and I didn't take it as an insult. I just never even thought about it that way.

I've been away from the "game" from far too long.
Started talking to a friend of a friend this week. Trivial talk and she takes a long while too respond, I gave her plenty of chances were she could have stopped replying but she always has something to say even if it is at weird timings like in the middle of a dinner, when she got home at 2 in the morning or at 8 in the morning (I think I woke up with a message from her almost every day this week).
