I'm not disagreeing, but I don't think that's what folks were intending, honestly. The hurricane Irma thread on GAF literally turned into a Publix Spicy Wings/Subs thread..so much so that no one was talking about anything else for over an hour and a separate thread had to be made lol..

It's just all of us shooting the shit about random stuff. It definitely isn't a good thing to be talking about in the thread tho, and Dy should apologies to us all..😏

See it's like this, people are also here to reconnect and bath in nostalgia about their time on GAF and their friendships there.
Dy just did it, but you're right that the shift wasn't exactly the best within this topic. You know that it wasn't with an ill intention, so no need to connect the dots any further.

I've seen that multiple times after a community has been nuked from GAF and started somewhere else.
Usually starts with ALOT of venting, discussing the topic itself, reconnecting with those who made it over and planning their next steps. Last step is alot of nostalgia and a bit of history and the topic at hand has run it's course.

Usually you could say it's time to close the topic, but we still got more than enough people arriving here fresh.
