Do you guys think Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove will be discounted deeper on eShop in the next six months? I'm pretty sure this game rarely ever goes on sale, so I'm thinking I'll pick this up alongside Odyssey on Friday morning since I know I want to get it at some point anyways.

I don't think I've ever seen a Nintendo sales that's ever not been disappointing.
And here I went buying Snake Pass at full price when it came out, seems like one of the only few that got a pretty big cut. Was hoping Gonner would go on sale. Oh well.

Axiom Verge is really, really good. I highly recommend it. There is a physical version coming out in November I believe so if that's more your style you could wait, or double dip.

real talk tho if you haven't played snake pass and you like platformers/collect-a-thon type games it's really good. movement mechanics take a while to get used to but once you do it's really neat.

I bought Axiom Verge this last weekend and so far it's a great game. Snake Pass is also worth it at that price, but the controls are definitely a bit of a struggle. I wish I had known about the sale but oh well. Probably going to pick up Shovel Knight because I never got around to playing that.

Yeah, you just have to take what you can get with Nintendo sales.

Snake Pass is really fun if you like the idea of learning and mastering new controls. The amazingly chill soundtrack and atmosphere do a lot to keep failures from feeling too frustrating.
