I'd like an invite to see the place and compare / contrast to Slaent. Same username and tag, haven't account suicided since I didn't plan on ever touching GAF again.

I can't actually help in any way, but I will say this: with that avatar/username combo, people remember you.
For whoever ends up creating the list: SteamGAF's mod verified GAF users by having them PM him on GAF with their Discord username/id, and he would add them to a verified role on the server. Look out for things like GAF accounts created in the last couple days, or anything else fishy. For banned users, you could try having them reset their password (using the forget password before they login), and have them PM you their username/password here to verify ownership of their account. Still be sure to search their account details from your account so you can verify nothing fishy's going on.

I'm not sure if I get the point of ResetEra atm. As an ex-gaffer, there seems to be a lot of options around to replace it. I guess we will see...
I would love an invite early but i know i wont have trouble registrating later as i have reenrolled into university again. Feels weird it being 10 years ago that I finally got to join gaf because of uni and soon resetera.

Oh, if I wasn't explicit: whoever the rep ends up being, I recommend making a Discord server to keep the verified users all in one place. SteamGAF's server created a special role for verified users and a specific channel only they could see; from what I understand, this will be important later, as you'll be responsible for distributing the invite link to the users, and they'll have a limited time to act on it. Being able to communicate it out to all who need it quickly is key.
Whether you want to make your own temporary server or coordinate with SL&ENT's mods are up to you.
EDIT: There seems to be some confusion in this thread. SOMEONE (with a GAF account) needs to step up and agree to verify users for this to go anywhere. As of now, no one's actually done this. Again, I would, but I'm banned already and need to go to bed in a few minutes.
