Of course it does. Fuck.
Well at least it doesn't discount Nintendo games all together like it has before.

By angelgrievous Go To PostWhy the hell does it exclude Switch games? Is that a Nintendo thing or a Target thing?Probably a combo of both. Even Best Buys b2g1 last year didn't include Nintendo games at all. Plus with Odyssey release they're not about to lose $$. But yeah in general it's rare seeing Nintendo games in any sale.

daaamn. I don't know. ACO and Wolfenstein and get Tekken 7 for free?
I feel like I could get all three for less than $120 near BF though. What do you guys think?

By VendettaRed07 Go To PostThe real megaton is board games are in. Have they ever done that before?Board games almost makes me forgive them for no switch games, almost.
Yeah, that was expected. System is too new. Maybe Switch games will be added to the deal in year or too after the system has been out for a while longer.
No Switch games are the killer, still, a 33% price cut isn't bad. But Target has a history to keep their games at MSRP during this sale. Probably a good time to pick up any remaining 3DS games and any niche PS4 titles. Best Buy's Gamers Club Unlocked still has this beat on top of BB's already existing lower prices.
Damn that sucks. I'm getting a Switch on Friday and was going to put off getting Zelda, Kart, and Rabbids until this sale, but now I'll just grab Zelda and Kart on Friday along with the Odyssey bundle. For some reason Target sent me a 10 percent off one entire purchase coupon the other day and it stacks with the 5 percent red card discount. Not great, but it's still a hefty savings off the console bundle, two games, charging grip, and a pair of yellow Joy-cons.
Gonna wait until Best Buy runs their B2G1, come out ahead with gamers club and will include switch games.
yeah if you have best buy gcu, the price comes out to the same as this sale
the good shit is when best buy has theirs and you stack gcu on it, whew

By digitalrelic Go To PostThese Target sales don't feel all that special anymore in the age of Amazon Prime and Best Buy GCU.Right? I mean, yeah, it's still a discount if you buy 3 games from Target during this sale over Amazon Prime/GCU. Quick math, you're getting $60 games for $40 each, versus $48.
Hopefully Best Buy follows suits but adds the option to buy Switch games. I could definitely use a B2G1 plus GCU for FE Warriors, Rabbids and Pokken.
Best buy had a b2g1 in early December last year but no Nintendo games.

Yeah for some reason I was thinking of $40 with a GCU discount for some reason, when it's actually $47. So you do end up saving a bit by going with Target.

You save a bit, but you need to pay $80 up front to save. Also, Best Buy is throwing another $10 in Reward Zone at you for preordering most of the big games coming out (Assassin's Creed: Origins, Super Mario Odyssey, Call of Duty: WWII, Star Wars: Battlefront II, and Far Cry 5 all qualify for this $10 promo, essentially making each game $38).
If you are looking to get deals on Switch games, your best hope is for Best Buy to bring back that Spend $100 get $25 off Visa Checkout deal they did a few times last Holiday season. I'm really hoping that returns.
By Infinity Go To Postcant even use this to get sun and moonI think you can. Just excludes Switch games.
By Valkyr Go To PostI think you can. Just excludes Switch games.Meant ultra sun and moon. They won't be available then

Sale is live. And you can mix and match board/video games. https://www.target.com/c/video-game-software/-/N-ujp7c
By reilo Go To PostMight have to jump on. Maybe I'll like AssCreed if I claim I got it for "free".If you want to be sure you get the best price buy your games on Nov 1st so you qualify for the holiday return period. And if you only want one game you can return/cancel any of the others since returns work by giving you the discounted amount back.
By Music Man Go To Posthow the hell is GTAV still $60?because it sells better than most $60 games.
