Have you guys tried Peruvian food? we don't have peruvians and I'd love to try some food sometime.
yeah, it's fucking amazing.
Papas a la huancaína? delicious!
Ají de gallina? Marvelous!
Tacu tacu con salsa de mariscos? GLORIOUS!
EDIT: Added pictures.
Never had Peruvian food but it looks delicious! Will get some on the next paycheck. Any recommendations??
Tacu Tacu (whether with steak or seafood) is probably one of my favorite dishes ever. And, as a dessert, ask for the tasty Suspiro Limeño:
Peruvian is probably one of the GOATs cuisines in all the world. Simply spectactular.

Peruvian food is the bomb. Their ceviche is amazing, there is so much more to it than lomo saltado.
What the hell, am I seeing avocado in that dish? o_O
PS: Man, I'm a huge ceviche fan. Just thinking about it makes me drool.

Is avocado that rare? here it's an expensive fruit, but common

Hahaha, no, here in Chile we LOVE avocado.
My shock face comes from seeing it combined with all the other foods. For me it would be like an atomic explosion in my intestines :D

it's not rare, but it's expensive. As Oveja Negra said, we LOVE it.
Funnily enough, one of my closest friends hates avocado. Like, literally hates it. I always tease him, say he has shit taste, lol

So, I know this is not the best thread to ask but, how do you actually join Reset? Is it through a discord invite only or a regular invite sent via PM? I really like this new community but I've also seen some of you already joined reset and I wouldn't mind enjoying both places.
Also, you guys need to try marranitas, which is fried platano verde filed with chicharron.

Registration is closed for now, sadly. Will keep you informed when they're open again. Keep in mind you're going to need a paid email for registration (like the one you used on GAF, if you still have that one).
And I haven't tried fried banana... not even once :(

Yeah, I've never seen plátano verde here. Apparently it's not very common around these parts.
That's what we get for not being a tropical country (?)

I've only ate them fried, they are more acid, I don't like them as much as platanos machos...
There are a lot of bananas/platanos types now that I think about it!

By NicasDream Go To PostWhat are the mini bananas called? XD
Here everything is platano something, so those are platanitos lol, but I heard many people call them platanos dominicos
I'm familiar with:
-Plátano (regular, yellow banana)
-Plátano macho (bigger, brown-ish banana that is usually served fried)
-Plátano dominico (miniature banana, usually the size of a thumb)
