Reviews seemed a little mixed from what i was reading earlier, but op has all positive so idk. Im sure ill enjoy it either way.
One of the faults of the first that I noticed when Mega64 pointed it out is that it’s 80s aesthetic is almost too saccharine, where there were basically no remnants of the 70’s. Even still, it was entertaining.

Pretty much this. There's faults. It's still a fun show.
Watching season 1 for the first time and the bluray has an unskippable trailer for season 2. But it comes in a worn vhs case, so that's cool.
I'll be caught up and watching season 2 by the weekend.

totally forgot to binge watch season 1.
also some of the speculations and theories surrounding 11
out there are pretty wild.

Anyone started watching?
The opening scene caught me off guard a bit. But opens the Stranger Things universe a bit more which is good.

Not sure if I am getting anything done this weekend and I have to go to a wedding that is an hour and a half away tomorrow...
Stranger Things and Mario are calling my name.

I’m torn... Binge this or glue myself to my Switch and play Mario all night. I know I could technically do both but I don’t have that kinda concentration... :/
a bit of a sophomore slump isn’t surprising. idea isn’t fresh anymore. still really looking forward to this.
it’s one of those shows where i never skip the intro.

The show is still good but, with only 2 and half episodes left, I absolutely hate some of the things they did.
Definitely a step down from the first.

Only part way through episode 1 right now and it's one of the best looking shows I've seen, first time seeing it in 4K.
done with ep.1
interesting twist in the end.
Edit:
maybe we should spoiler tag for those ahead?
not sure what the common protocol is for Netflix shows when discussing it.

By Kabro Go To Postam I the only one that's gonna watch it on a weekly basispretty much
the way shows are meant to be watched? :|
Finished it. I was fully prepared for season 2 to absolutely suck as soon as it was announced. I thought there was no way they can make this show good for another season. Well....they kinda did. It's not perfect and it's not as good as the first season, but it was still a fun ride. Let's see if they can do it again for season 3.
By Moris Go To PostOn Ep 7 and while I'm enjoying it more there's a lot of weird decisions with story and pacing.
Definitely. I just finished ep 7 and think a lot of it stems from the characters feeling very separated and having different goals. Last season almost every character was focused or working towards the same thing.
This season the characters are focused on very different things and it is taking longer for these threads to come together. Especially with the new characters.
All that being said, I am still very much enjoying it. It's doing a lot of different things from the first season while still drawing from it and calling back to it.
