Taking the CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner)

Is anyone here a CFE? If so, what did you review to prepare for the exam? I am trying to circumnavigate and avoid paying money for study material for this exam, being that that Fraud Examiners Manual (FEM), provided by the ACFE, is over $100. Even a prep course is several hundred dollars too much. Are there cheap books I can buy to supplement what's found in the FEM in order to study for this?
