By pkaz01 Go To PostWhat level of good in comparison to the rest of the franchise is this? AssCreed II and Black Flag were my favorites.
It's up there with both of them, it's definitely the best since Black Flag in any case.
Watching a Leopard and a Crocodile fight is so good lol. Also be wary of Hippo's they don't fuck around, I learned that the hard way.
So far I'm liking the sidequests more than Witcher 3 or Horizon as I haven't done "Go to area>activate witcher senses/horizon senses-> investigate clues-> follow footsteps/blood/smell" a hundred fucking times already.
By reilo Go To PostIs this actually a decent game or is it decent by AssCreed standards?the latter.

I saw a Hippo kill a crocodile yesterday lol, those things are scary.
Opened up the entire map yesterday, it's huge. Luckily i worked out the "follow to custom marker" feature, so at least i didn't have to hold down the button to ride. Did the last few areas via boat, the sailing is nice and smooth.
Senu is marvellous, because i was basically unlocking the map (and climbing viewpoints), i unlocked Senu's ability to stun enemies. Makes combat vs a crowd much easier.

By blackace Go To PostHearing a lot of Witcher like quest with better combat talk…
Does it feel like an RPG?
Yes, this game is more like Witcher or Horizon Zero Dawn in design than it is Assassin Creed. If i were to describe the side quests they'd fall somewhere between Witcher and Horizon, they are well designed with each one having it's own story to tell even if they are not as memorable as Witcher 3s offerings.
But you won't find many if any fetch quests that tells you to go here and no story or motivation behind to back it up.
Surprisingly good so far, it feels more interesting than Horizon's at least. I wouldn't say they compare greatly to Witcher 3s but somewhere in between the two games is where i'd place it.
Game is good man. Itching to play more. About 12 hours in and barely scratched the surface. Its crazy that they practically recreated a country. Fucking huge. Liking the combat. I like the open world structure as well, compared to Mad Max which I recently flushed, everything in that game felt like busy work, havent felt that in ACO so far..
Like I said earlier, apart from the climbing this plays so much differently than any other AssCreed game. Controls are more responsive too. The last AC I played was Brotherhood so I dont know of they had gotten better.
I like Bayek as a character too. Him being a married man is kind of refreshing.

By s y Go To PostI'm enjoying myslef more than I thought I ever would playing an AssCreed game.
Gave this a shot via Redbox and now I wish I bought this instead of Wolfenstein. Game is great so far. Combat is much improved from previous AC games and the world stunning. Quest design is pretty good too. Hell I even like the side activities this time around.
By Laboured Go To PostYeah think I'm going to get this. Impressions sound pretty fun.
mashallah lad.
Just having fun progressing the story a bit, doing sidequests and some points of interest here and there (?). Had a cool moment yesterday when I stumbled upon a group of 5 or 6 vultures, hit one to get aggro then the whole gang followed me to a nearby enemy camp where beautiful chaos ensued. The biggest compliment I can give this game is I don't feel like I'm playing an AC game :)
By Facism Go To Postmashallah lad.
You got it?
By Facism Go To PostGod no.Lmao
By Khaliss Go To PostYou know what else I'm thankful for so far? NO TAILING MISSIONS 😁honestly the best thing i've heard so far
8 hours in, its good
Bayek is a great character, and I legit got some feels from seeing his mummy
Are there trophies for buying every outfit/mount?

Bayek is honestly the thing that shocks me the most, he's a fantastic character and not something i especially expected from a Ubisoft game.

I love the desert hallucinations. Cool stuff. Gorgeous game. SUper strong art direction. Down to the poses.
Also, regarding something Hitch asked earlier. I just had a quest where I really didn't have any objective or waypoint marker. Basically I found these hieroglyphics telling me to "look west to the pyramids for a hidden temple in the golden dunes guarded by lionesses" so I started exploring the desert area around these pyramids and I actually found the hidden area to beat the quest, so that was dope.
Honestly, I'm only 22 hours in, but this game shits on the Witcher 3.
I love TW3 but the gameplay is clunky as shit.
My history with AC is the first is very boring, second and brotherhood are great, played 10 mins of revelations, got bored halfway through 3, got bored half an hour into 4, and not played one since.

this nikka about to play origins in PSN offline mode
I've only played Assassin's Creed 1, 2, an hour of Brotherhood (smelt like rehash to me), and about half of 3.
AC2 was great, really enjoyed it. Origins is kinda tempting to me (honestly just want something that looks really good to play). Should I drop £40-50 on this? Has it lived up to AC2 for anyone else?

ACO's pacing is a little wanky at times so far for the story they are trying to tell but it's solid so far
the beginining of ACO is the worst part so far. NOt sure why they chose to start the game like that.
So I'm fighting these crocodiles and I thought I was good, all of a sudden this motherfucker jumps out of the water. Holy shit!

I need flamingo tongues for a quest and it seems they all went on strike. Why didn't I just shoot a couple of them before when a hundred of them were flying over me? Ugh.

If that's the quest i think it is just stroll back and forth down the river, you'll find a bunch there.
Stumbled upon a hippo attacking a civilian
Lost track of what was going on. Saw something rippling under the water coming towards me. Shot it. Civilian floats to the surface with an arrow between his eyes.
:(
The chariot controls are horrendous btw. Glitched out twice causing me to fail the mission, simply because you can't make the horses walk backwards.

These impressions and some reviews are sounding good. I think I'm gonna pick this up, but I might give it a couple weeks.
