By seph Go To PostWhat is Slaent’s take on Spiderman Homecoming? I for one loved it.It hit all the right notes for me as a fan of Ultimate Spider-Man (the comics, not the disney cartoon), and I think it’s a ton of fun and holds up well on rewatches, but it still can’t dethrone Spider-Man 2. That movie just holds too special a place in my heart.

It was too...juvenile...for my tastes. But that's what they were shooting for: Nickelodeon-era acting with Degrasse High language.
Loved Tony Stark though.
I really came in here to say that a friend of mine suggested that he, a couple other dudes, and I go out to see the Thor movie. I said I wasn't interested. Then he asked my wife. She and another woman said the would *LOVE* to go. So I guess I'll be drug to it....

Hemsworth is a funny dude, so I'm looking forward to seeing him in a Thor movie with some material that plays to his strength.
Loved Thor, great movie. Only problem i have with the film is how different it is to the previous Thor films. I find it interesting how so far all the cosmic Marvel films have been comedies (Thor 1 & 2 were not cosmic).
Really want to see this film again.
Really want to see this film again.
Anyone else catch Thor this weekend?. It was easily the best Thor movie. Comedic Hemsworth is gold and its what Thor should have been all along.
If almost three complete phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have taught us anything — and let’s not rush to assume that’s the case — it’s that superhero movies don’t need to have sex in order to reproduce. “Thor: Ragnarok” marks the seventeenth feature in the film world’s most ubiquitous franchise, and not a single one of its characters has verifiably gotten laid since Tony Stark seduced a Vanity Fair reporter just prior to becoming Iron Man.
Captain America is a virgin. Spider-Man is a virgin. Ant-Man is a loveless divorcee, and Hawkeye barely even gets to see his wife with her clothes on. Bruce Banner has probably had some chemistry with women over the years, but his complete inability to engage in safe sex has muffled the mutual desire that’s percolating between he and Natasha Romanoff (which might be for the best, considering how Black Widows tend to treat their mates). Peter Quill has definitely been around the block a few times, but his romantic history is relegated to an intergalactic rap sheet; in the time we’ve known him, his desire has been solely dedicated towards an unspoken crush.
Hyper-sexualized but almost entirely sexless, the Marvel movies are emblematic of a blockbuster culture in which a certain degree of celibacy has become the norm.http://www.indiewire.com/2017/11/thor-ragnarok-marvel-movie-sex-1201894469/
Will someone get Captain America laid already it's been 70+ years!

No, because then he won't hit as hard.
so odd that people think Agents is good as a whole. Season 1 is bad to mediocre. Season 2 is above average. Season 3 is mediocre. 4 starts off strong then tail spins into garbage, with Ian's acting being the only good thing in the latter half.
Klaw's arm looks hilariously bad, though with his stupid grin I think that's the point. I like them.

By BKatastrophe Go To PostIt looks like a prothstetic wouldI meant more the framing of it, lighting, etc. It looks either extremely photoshopped or someone was just holding it slightly off-camera. It doesn't actually look like it's connected to the rest of his body. But as mentioned I think that was the point!

Oh you meant the way the hand was in the picture. I thought you meant the hand itself. Well, it's because the hand is photoshopped over it. Look at Klaw, and you'll see his sleeve is rolled up as if his arm was still not there. It's two completely separate images.
Thor 3 was fun and finally a fun Thor movie. Hemsworth and Huddleston are gems. Goldblum brining the fun to everything he does and I love him for it.
Also great cameo.
also goddammmit shirtless Hemsworth stop making me feel inferior

They all say the same thing about the length of the series: there are more episodes than necessary for the amount of story presented. I dunno why this keeps happening with the Marvel Netflix shows, SHIELD doesn't have this problem. I don't like the character at all, but I like Berenthal and I know he'll show up, and I'll probably enjoy the action.

According to tonight's episode of Agents of SHIELD, which takes place in the future, I think The Avengers lost. LOL
By blackace Go To PostX-Men will be recasted tho… wonder how that will goAbout as well as it did for Spider-Man, probably.
Honestly if I was Kevin Feige I would wait to introduce the X-men by a "phase" (i.e. by 5-7 years) in order to distance themselves from Fox's X-Men as I'm pretty sure it's impossible to merge the two (unless they just do a merging of multiverses like they did in the comics a couple of years ago).
Fantastic Four are fine as they have yet to be introduced successfully.
Fantastic Four are fine as they have yet to be introduced successfully.
Someone mentioned a great idea on reset that I really liked: Essentially it being X-Men being introduced via Scarlet Witch looking into her past and stumbling upon her father. Magneto can play the victim and they can team up to try to take out Xavier, who has been scrubbing the existence of mutants from human knowledge, only for it to be revealed of course that Magneto is the true villain. Scarlet switches sides, Magneto takes a setback. Scarlet asked to join the squad and she says naw, but boom X-men are introduced and have their "connection" to the Avengers side of the universe.

Wayyyy late to the party but watched Doctor Strange tonight. Liked it quite a bit. Thematically and dramatically shallow but visually impressive.

its just avi arad not wanting to wait for the mcu to have his favorite character
By reilo Go To PostI actually don't know. On that point, is Deadpool?
If it's not produced by Marvel Studios, it's not MCU. The fact that Avi Arad and Kevin Feige don't see eye to eye on some stuff and Venom is Avi's movie at Sony, means that's not likely to change.
Assuming the Fox purchase goes all the way through, Deadpool will be MCU eventually.
