Rachel McAdams should be revealed (as in put it in The trailer like Thor's hammer getting busted.) to be Clea, the master sorceress and long time love interest/partner of Strange. She was pretending to be a nurse to keep an eye on strange, because his magical abilities have been known for a while. She could bring him into a bigger world of other cool Master sorcerers especially when having to fight Mordo, and probably also introduce him to parallel dimensions and alternate realities! Make it a romantic fantasy superhero movie.
Her response when Strange asks how the hell could you pretend to be someone else for so long?
"I'm an incredible actress." Stone cold face.
Cream, that'd redeem her character for me. Could then introduce all the weirdo magic users too. I do wonder where they'll go with Strange 2, I hope it's as out there as possible.
I'm really disappointed that they combined Kaecilius and Dormammu the way that they did. I hope we haven't seen the last of Dormammu because I hate that they went all Galactus space cloud on him.

Meh. I liked the scene in the car with Keaton because both the leads played it well and it was nice to have a confrontation that wasn't just fighting. Everything else was unremarkable.

Watching Thor: Ragnarok tonight at a media screening. I'm going in blind - have managed to avoid most media, trailers and spoilers, which is what I'm doing for all Marvel movies since Age of Ultron - so really really looking forward to it!
Heading in for Thor on Thursday. I hope it's Waititi blasting on all cylinders, and not like Iron Man 3, which felt like it had been diluted of Shane Black a little. Still a good one though.
Can't say that I digged Hunt for the Wilderpeople, and I haven't seen Boy and What We Do In The Shadows yet, but I'm anticipating Thor: Ragnarok because I love the character itself, what I've seen of the marketing and Taika Waititi is this chill and relaxed cool guy; love it.
Ragnarok was Marvel/10. Good casting, good acting, some funny lines, some decent action. So dramatically unsatisfying to the point where everything feels like the most rote way to get from point A to B. Ending spoilers also using your post-credit sequence to undo your ending is next level Marvel fuccery

Just came from seeing the new Thor movie, and I have to say that I really liked it. By far and a way the best Thor film, and also n8 dogg is right the film didn't support that Valkyrie was an LGBT character.
I mean, she is in the comics, explicitly. Since it's the same character, she is bisexual. And if you read the article, it just says that it was confirmed because Tessa Thompson said it on twitter. So it's not really "lip service".

I liked him in Rogue One, but I think it helped that I had read Catalyst first. He's a great actor though, hopefully they give him some good material.
I like(d) the TV as much as the movies. I was more hyped about DD S1 and Jessica Jones than most of the movies.

It's real, Thor: Ragnarok is indeed not only the best Thor film, not only the best film that Taika has ever directed, but also one of the best Marvel Studios films AND one of the best superhero films of all time.
