Halo 3 is still my favorite Halo game. Pretty amazing that I'm going to be able to play this at near 4K on my X.

Just remembered I should have a digital copy of NGB. I bought it back on 360, so I'm assuming it'll be ready to download when I get home.
Just pre-ordered the last Xbox One X at my local EB Games. By local I mean one that is 2 hours away. Past 3 other EBGames. Worth it.
The 360 games pictured in the Eurogamer written reviewget enormous gains. I really can't wait to see them put the console's full power behind titles like Lost Odyssey and Halo Reach.
I cleared out like 250Gb from my external HDD to make space for the 4K games, it filled up again pretty quickly.
I put an external 1TB drive on my Xbox One when that feature became available and it didn't long for me to find myself having to delete games and be selective with installs. But Halo 5 and the MCC have never leave my Xbox and those are 100 GB each and maybe this is a 343 issue more than anything.
Probably need 4TB external HDD minimum. I'd probably roll with a 8TB. All these enhanced games coming in hot at like 100GB+ easy.
Also, I cancelled my preorder a few days ago. I hooked up my PC to the TV and got great performance at 4k. Although I didn't take into account the HDR gains. Will probably pick one up before year end either way, and from Best Buy like I wanted to anyway.

I read one "review" article that talked about quiet this thing was. Surprised to see its not much different then the Xbox One thought the Xbox One was pretty quiet to begin with, for me at least.
Even the original, giant Xbox One is really quiet. They've really done a good job on hardware since they botched the launch 360s.
I really hope their three big releases this spring take advantage of this hardware horsepower, though the only one I'm pretty confident will be good is State of Decay. (Please let Crackdown be good.)

In all seriousness, I hope it's good two, I enjoyed the first one so much but never ended up finishing the second.
I think the fact that you access to 3 different generations of games , 2 of which were on different hardware architectures, via software and in 4k is REALLY being slept on.

Crackdown 2 is really more Crackdown, but this time with zombies. It's a bit misguided.
The campaign stuff of 3 they showed off at E3 looks fun, but it's concerning that they've never shown any multiplayer (with all the destruction that they promised) and then kicked the game back from XOX launch with just a statement saying it wasn't up to their quality standards. When it eventually releases, it'll have been in development for five years with three studios working on it.
They have to get out in front of this at some point. It's this huge, high profile, expensive game they've been telling us about for four years now and they won't even show off the co-op.

Quantum Break, ReCore, Super Luckys Tale.I think it's unfair to say everything they did this gen hasn't worked when they've at least been able to put out good new things like Killer Instinct, State of Decay, Ori, and Sunset Overdrive. They've missed more than they've hit, but I mean, they missed a lot on 360, too, it's just that it's more high profile now since the first party output has shrank.
I think they just need diversity back in their lineup in the worst way. Crackdown helps break the Halo/Gears/Forza streak some, but they have nothing this gen like a Fable or a Lost Odyssey. That's what I mostly hope they can do at E3 next year is announce genres they don't already traffic heavily in and reboot some things they know work (I'm gonna wish a new MechAssault into existence).
On the other hand Sony is putting out stuff currently and in the future to get you to buy a PS4. The system sellers for Xbox one x are OG Xbox games, higher res 360 games

Halo 5 is already a nice looking game, but the X enhancements make it gorgeous. I can't wait to see what 343 does for Halo 2 Anniversary.
