Just seen this. My cat died this morning too. I was literally hysterical for about 3 or 4 hours. He’s been in my family since I was 12 and I’m 28 now. The only thing that has given me comfort since then is the thought of Odyssey and I won’t be playing it either!. Just to say I’m absolutely feeling for you man. I loved my cat so much.

When I had to put my 17 year old cat down it was the worst day of my life. From 8 to 25, she was in my life and I held her as she passed. To cats! I loved and will miss mine too. Feel for you two

Thanks :). It’s lovely to hear other people care so much too. I’ve been feeling so low since it happened and I almost feel over critical of myself because I think I shouldn’t be that bothered. But the truth is it’s very painful regardless, and I can’t control how I feel.

I think they are representative of more than just themselves, but eras and times in our childhood. I wasn’t expecting him to go and I’m finding that difficult to contend with right now. Anyways sorry for rambling on, I realise this thread is about Odyssey! I will hopefully get a Switch soon and it’ll be the first game I buy. Amazing Mario games always remind me of Christmas and Winter times..
