So the Jump Up, Superstar! song was released on iTunes this week and peaked at #29 on the iTunes chart. It’s #77 right now and #2 on iTunes Japan.
I wonder why Nintendo didn’t release the song on Spotify. Spotify + iTunes + the live action music video could’ve made the song debut on the Billboard HOT 100, and it would be the first video game song to do it.
Anyway, sorry for this music talk. The game looks amazing and is probably going to get 10 scores from everyone just like Zelda did.

It was really cool seeing Nintendo make the final round of NWC 2017 be Odyssey, because "playing a game they've never played befo-wah!" was the grand finale of The Wizard (with then-unreleased SMB3 in the final round). It was life imitating art!

Squeezing in as many Stardew hours as I can because I just know Odyssey will dominate my Switch for the foreseeable future.
Got my copy on pre order today from BB. I'm going take a early lunch on Friday and pick it up and we'll see I might just need to take the rest of the day off.

Sick at home at the moment so I won't be able to go out and get my copy on Friday, but I ordered it from an online store that somewhat guarantees delivery on release day, so I'm hoping the best. Guess my weekend is planned now. :)

Can’t believe we’re getting a mainline Zelda and Mario game in the same year. And playing them on the go. The Switch is starting to dominate my gaming time.
Wasn't too big on 3D World, but Odyssey looks amazing. It's amazing how much creativity Nintendo can squeeze out of almost 40-year old IP.
I am so hyped for this game! Even more so because it'll be my first proper 3D Mario game. 3D Land and 3D World were great games, but they were just a bunch of very linear levels. I'm excited by the idea of an open world Mario game.

Me too! I cannot wait for Friday as this is my most anticipated game since the release of Persona 5.
It looks like this game is gonna do really well for Nintendo if the buzz on the internet is anything to go by and that makes me really happy. They've had a fantastic year.

I remember kid me not liking this game, thinking that no one would like it if it wasn't a Mario game. I haven't played the game since then, but it looks quite rough compared to other 3D Mario games. I would definitely like to see a remake/polished-up HD remaster of Sunshine on the Switch.
