Me too! I've tried to avoid watching footage. I'm a little familiar with some of the kingdoms, but overall I've seen very little. Friday can't come soon enough. I love the Nintendo Switch.
At this point all I want to know is how many kingdoms there are, total. They must have held back at least 3 that were never named or shown, right?

Thursday's a holiday here, so I naturally took Friday off to give SMO the three days of nonstop gaming it deserves. I'm really looking forward to it. And yes, a review thread to raise the hype levels would be great.

Didn’t see it mentioned, but if you’re really desperate to play this, check Target. Mine had a demo station and one of the games was Odyssey. It even spots you a few coins so you can customize your Mario a bit!
My wife just had a baby so I've got a lot of late night feeding duty going on right now. Can't wait for Odyssey. Perfect game for these duties.

They must have held back at least 3 that were never named or shown, right?From what I can tell we know about 10-11 for sure, and current speculation based off marketing material/other clues estimates another 3-4.
For my tastes I feel like they've showing off a bit too much for people who don't wanna go total blackout mode while also not needing to see every world before launch, though I honestly doubt they'd show off all the kingdoms before the game hits. I get that it can be stressful to trust big companies not to blow it for everyone with the marketing simply out of the goodness of their heart, but we also had people claiming we'd only get the four kingdoms originally shown off when Odyssey was first revealed. Obviously we learn more a more about a game the closer we get to launch but that was so off base I feel we can relax. The Edge review makes it seems like there's plenty of content to go around.

Super hyped for this Thursday but im going out of town to visit friends this weekend so I really won’t be able to dig in until the following week 😭
This game has photo mode? lol I wasn't expecting that... I've been staying as dark as possible so missed that news.
Just 5 more days though O_O I've had ridiculous expectations for this title since it's reveal and I'm 100% expecting it to be my game of the year... Can't wait.

I honestly haven't seen any footage other than the major trailers. I played it at E3 and it was buttery smooth. Can't wait to sink my teeth into it.
Played this at GameStop and immediately fell in love with the controls. This is going to be amazing!
I was never a GAF member, but a lurker, didn't have paid email :( Glad to finally be allowed into a community though.

I don’t have a Switch but I’ve been following the development and news with SMO the whole time. I’m excited for you all. I might be getting a Switch down the line but I just don’t find time to play games anymore. This one looks special and wonderfully weird.

I think mostly locations and stuff, to me it's not really a big deal at all, but rather than just reading a list of all the leaked locations I figure for once I'm gonna try to go in blind...ish. Normally I'd be highlighting everything trying to find out every single fact before playing.
