I am looking at the threads that got responses, and it's... mostly people saying their Good Byes, letting others know how to reach them, and so on.
Kind of reminds me of the moment before people leave for war.
Kind of sad... and sad it had to come to this.
I really liked that NeoGaf was a kind of beacon on the internet.
I mean, yeah, it wasn't perfect by any measure, but I liked to settle down in my break and just browse the forums.
See what shit Trump pulled this time. Glance into the GermanGaf thread every now and then, checking out the Hearthstone, Warframe and HotS communities.
It was nice that it was a forum mostly devoid of alt-right stuff, homophobia, transphobia (it was really nice seeing people being educated about this. Hell, I learned a lot about this). It was a forum of people understanding the value of punching Nazis in the face (I'm German, I'm allowed to say this).
Kind of reminds me of the moment before people leave for war.
