I was slowly making my way to a full member but with neogaf imploding that has stalled indefinitely and what’s this about ResetERA? How does one go about joining the website if their presence on neogaf was rather small and if they’ve never been in the gaf discord ? I know I’ll also stay on this website as well as I’m seeing some familiar people but I’m pretty sure I can manage using both websites

Actually not really. You need to get your account physically deleted. I only ever saw it happen twice. Once because someone created a thread asking why a previous thread was deleted. EL responded with something like "because I felt like it. Please don't waste my time with this crap. Thanks. And by thanks, I mean 'your account has been deleted'". Then, the user's name changed to "Guest" when it was grayed out. A perma-ban doesn't really delete you from the database.
