I remember when Steph’s Dad and his agent were declining work outs to OKC and Memphis and maybe even GSW to try and get him New York all the while saying he had no preference.

The therapy and rehab has me intrigued and a little optimistic.
The little to no communication between him and his teammates and front office have me a bit worried, though.
A believable answer to the unfollowing the team from Twitter question.

It was an obvious ploy and it worked because it scared Kahn off of drafting him.
It's interesting that KP is rehabbing at the facility of a team he never played for that just happens to be the team of his homie Luka Doncic. Just saying...

The half that actually follow the team enjoy Cousins but bring up legit criticisms. The half that don't are worse than national media at blindly following narratives.
Michael Porter a vegan. Wonder if athletes will ever be majority vegan? I feel like I hear about it from bball players more than any sport

Thibs has demanded that you be included in the deal. And, to be honest, Riley is kind of ready to cut bait.

Pretty sure rodeo is already dead.
Here's what I know/have gleaned: Karl is super unhappy playing for Thibs and playing with Jimmy Butler. But then again, so are Wiggins and Tyus, the former because he and Towns hate the drill sergeant, "quit being soft" bullshit Thibs and Jimmy espouse daily and Tyus because he knows he knows he deserves more than 15 minutes a night.
Thibodeau just fired the one assistant coach that Karl was really close with to make a statement. He didn't want Kat buddying up to anybody but him. He didn't tell Towns about this, he had to learn through Twitter. This did not do anything to smooth over the Thibs/Towns dynamic.
Glen Taylor knows all this is happening. He thinks Thibs is wasting his money and that he isn't the same caliber of coach that Flip and Mitchell were. (He's not wrong.) Glen has a decision to make.

By HasphatsAnts Go To PostTime for Karl "Coach Killer" Towns to earn his keep imoIt's deeper than that.
Here's an example: When Thibs got hired, he beefed up the Timberwolves scouting and analytics departments at the behest of Taylor, who thought that they were lagging behind the rest of the league under Saunders. I mean, they were, but Flip had actually hired numbers people for the first time. When Derrick Rose became a free agent, they all implored Thibs not to sign him because he can't go anymore. He did anyway. Glen Taylor heard from his basketball ops people that Thibs doesn't listen to them.
That's basically all Glen's heard from everyone in the front office for two years: Thibs makes decisions and doesn't consult anybody else, which makes Taylor wonder why he's paying all these people all this money if their input doesn't matter. In his post-season meeting with Taylor, Thibs was grilled about this, why he doesn't play his bench player (Glen and Tyus are tight, so he's definitely heard the locker room complaints), etc.
There's a lot going on. None of it's good.
By Kibner Go To Posthttps://theundefeated.com/features/new-orleans-pelicans-demarcus-cousins-im-shooting-to-be-ready-for-training-camp/Odd, i remember photos / videos of DMC celebrating with the team. Definitely of the regular season games at the end when they qualify for the play offs.

The kid's played 18 straight months of basketball iunno.
This might just be a case of leaden legs rather than he's slo-mo tier

James Harden's p slow too so I'm not too bothered
James Harden's p slow too so I'm not too botheredHarden might have the best first step in the league
harden's also a fucking tank.... harden's biggest thing coming into the league was getting his shot to be more consistent. he was streaky at best from deep and terrible off the dribble - and that was while being amazing at everything else
luca better be godlike with the shot. he's not bulldozing anyone

By s y Go To PostHarden might have the best first step in the leagueLot more to it than raw explosiveness no?
He's got a killer cross over and the best body feint in the league. It's a lot more to craft than people give credit for.
I will give Luka this tho.
He's 19 and the NBA training will probably tone his body quite a bit. He a bit doughy which tells me he could stand to lose a few pounds...could help with his foot speed some.

there are guys with great handles all over the planet. if you don't have the strength and speed behind it you're just an and 1 player
im not shitting on luca saying anything other than he's slow as fuck, but he's really fucking slow - especially for a top 2 pick

I don't think I worry about the strength part. He's 6'8 235 and looks like a larger Mike Trout.
I'm not comparing him to James Harden, but if Harden can get to a point where he's got the undisputed best first step in the league with middling explosiveness and lots of guile and craft, there's no reason to believe Doncic can't get to, I don't know, 70% of that?
And that's honestly all he needs to be successful.
you can get successful anywhere in the 1st round. top pick? you kinda expect more is all im sayin
and that's not middling explosiveness by any means either. you're really downplaying harden imo

I think Luca's step / speed is hard to judge because you're not always seeing it versus guys at his level. But other pro's in Europe. And you're not sure what level they're at athletically.
