DO IT MITCH
By joefu Go To PostIt's cool that we'll end up with one of them. Why do you want the guy with the broken back?I mean, I specified if he's fully healthy for a reason. If he's not then he's not even worth considering at all.
OTOH if he is healthy then Memphis or Atlanta will probably take him, dropping one of JJJ or Bagley to us.

We started the year with a top 5 then it's a huge drop off, but after this season I think it's a top 2 plus JJJ and then it's like, 6 guys clustered together.
Don't think there's a "Can't Miss" prospect in this crop unfortunately.

You're going to draft Grayson Allen and you're going to like it.

By Red Blaster Go To Postporter seems like aaron gordon with b- athleticismionno about that
gordon wasn't nearly as polished on offense coming out of hs as porter.
if hs mixtapes are anything to go by, porter is a taller jayson tatum with worse handles but better moves.
By Red Blaster Go To Postcombine measurements are outThrow him in the trash
sexton's shorter than trae young wtf
He can or he can stay in Europe if he wants. He is probably going to try and angle for somewhere. I would also would be surprised if Porter tried to play the game by only releasing his medical records to certain teams.
Doncic can withdraw from the draft if he wants. International players aren't automatically eligible and in the draft pool until they're 22, so he has time. If he stays in and gets drafted, whoever picks him has his NBA rights forever, basically. (There's a weird technicality about sitting out an entire year of pro ball, but nobody is doing that.)
I think this is very much a play to get him away from Sacramento. The Kings have historically not drafted guys that don't work out for them, so they could try that, too.

that afro got people fooled lol
The Euroleague season is also still ongoing, so Doncic talking about leaving right now also wouldn't be the best right now.
doncic is kinda the perfect spot for sacramento though
players wish teams would love them the way the kings love buddy. shit, skal would be GONE from the league had he been with most teams

WCS and Skal both are gonna be legit bigs and that's through development. WCS could do one thing at an NBA level and was an unfocused mess everywhere else on the court. Sac has definitely refined him. Skal? Dude would be catching lobs from Sun Yue if the Lakers had drafted him. They treated Bogdan extremely well considering he's not exactly the youngest rookie in the league and they gave Frank Mason all the respect and freedom in the world even while Fox was clearly inferior.
There's nothing bad about what they've done in the past two years when it comes to development. They didn't even throw Giles out there and have him embarrassing himself unlike other teams with a broke 1st round pick... They haven't done anything bad when it comes to managing guys.
I said two years lol
and everyone knew McLemore was a bust. Stauskus barely even played in Sacramento - and plus that was the year they had 3 coaches in one season and prior to the overhaul lol.
Nik spent more time in Philly anyways and Knux can tell you how lost he was there

Fuck that first time Knicks-GAF/SLAENT might be 100% unified on a pick
Fuck that first time Knicks-GAF/SLAENT might be 100% unified on a pick
Knicks general manager Scott Perry believes interviews with prospects is a key ingredient to making a decision for the June 21 draft. Perry said the Knicks, who have the ninth and 36th picks, will interview 20 prospects — the maximum allowed — in 30-minute sessions across the next three days.I don't know what moving up would solve. Knicks aren't that close that you do that anyway-
Perry said he likes to target a wide range of players for interviews — not just players in the team’s pick range. A source said the Knicks are hopeful to have point guard Trae Young and Harlem center Mohamed Bamba work out in Tarrytown, though neither is expected to fall to No. 9. They are among their planned interviews here.
Perry didn’t rule out trading up in the draft.
“I think you have a loose idea of where guys may fall,’’ Perry said. “Historically, I’ve liked to broaden that range because going into the draft you never know what could occur. There may be trade opportunities to move up or down.’’
Mohamed Bamba set an NBA combine record with a 7'10" wingspan.
For context, Rudy Gobert was the previous record holder with a 7'8" wingspan. Bamba measured in at 7' 0.75" in shoes with a ridiculous standing reach of 9' 7.5". It's easy to see why the freshman out of Texas swatted 3.7 shots with 10.5 rebounds a game. He might be moving up some draft boards after this and is a projected top-10 pick.
They either mixed up Wendell Carter's measurements or dude is on his death bed. They have him weighing 196.
For comparison, they have Grayson Allen at 198.
Nah.
For comparison, they have Grayson Allen at 198.
Nah.
Young's combine measurements show he doesn't possess the prototypical physical traits, though. Along with his low height and weight, he also recorded the smallest wingspan. [6'3"]
💀💩
No surprise here: Jackson’s considered a likely top five pick for a reason. But for a player who shot almost 40 percent from three and projects as a stretch four, or even small-ball five, Jackson didn’t measure, well, so small ball. Bamba projects as a center at the next level, and Jackson was more than 10 pounds heavier at 236 pounds. When paired with Jackson measuring 6-foot-11.25 in shoes and boasting a 7-5.25 wingspan, scouts who weren’t in love with Jackson soon will be.
🤔
On the other end of the spectrum is Gilgeous-Alexander, who had a Combine-low 3 percent body fat. Does the Wildcat freshman need to fill out? At 180 pounds, sure. But at 6-foot-6 in shoes and with an almost 7-foot wingspan? There’s plenty of room to put on the weight. Gilgeous-Alexander has the length of a small forward but the athleticism to play point guard. That should attract plenty of suitors.
Plz drop to 12.

Bamba has freak arms
His standing reach is longer than Yao Ming's.
His hand was almost at the top of the backboard on another dunk.
He doesn't look like a stiff, so maybe in the right environment he can develop into a legit NBA starting center. Fits well with the Mavs too. I think Bamba is going to land here and I've already accepted it.
Bamba having a (relatively) smaller/more agile frame compared to his freak arms will probably help him stay relevant in today's NBA. He's like a mobile wall.
