we got swept by a player who's been in the finals in the last 9 seasons (in the second round this past season). we've also learned from it, by getting Kawhi.
when will your favs?
This is where we forget 2 teams that weren't the 1 seed taking LeBron to 7. Hell, another team not the 1 seed sweeping him.

this also the part where you conveniently forget that the Dubs had an injury plagued season.
By DY_nasty Go To Post"Injuries"
yeah, definitely the reason why Steph sat out, and Casspi got cut to keep Cook around.
Iggy sat plenty too.
By Doomsayer Go To PostThings are getting testy in here. Yup, it's almost Basketball season.
Don't mind Dy, he's just trying to keep Kemba around... and out of the lottery.

Like dubs even care til the WCF.
"Oh no, how will they ever get past the spurs with all these injuries" definitely remember that happening along with anyone watching that series.
Last season was hilarious in how people were like "is GSW really gonna make it and do it again?" in some of their narratives.
As if...

I'm crying 😂
Raps were shook.
we got ourselves a new player and a silent leader because of that fact.

Bench player? Meyers Leonard is a starter.
Definitely going to have a breakout year if the Blazers adjust their offense to make the most of his talents.
Had forgotten about a bunch of these transactions
Seth Curry to Blazers
Austin Rivers traded to Wizards (LOL)
Yogi Ferrell to Kings

By giririsss Go To Postlmao, arguing Lonzo Ball had a good rookie year. Was it a bad rookie year?
Dy got WAY too much spare time.
Lonzo had a fine year for a rookie PG sans the injuries.
His dad's big mouth and being on the Lakers simply magnified things. Most rookie PGs are ass especially the young ones. It took Mike Conley his entire rookie contract to be worth a damn. Pop was moments away from shanking Tony Parker. Kyrie put up numbers but his teams were dookie. The PG position is hard ....especially with a jank jumper. Lonzo may never be the centerpiece worthy of a top 2 pick...but I think he's going to be a fine player.
however again due to his dad;s mouth and now the LeBron spotlight...he has to be more than fine.

By blackace Go To PostWas it a bad rookie year?it was a mediocre at best year?
The percentages were abysmal. And there were extended periods where he didn't look like he belonged in the NBA. Just about every negative in his scouting report turned out to be true. First step below par. Couldn't get his shot off. When he did it was rushed and didn't translate at all. And the backdoor cuts etc were better denied.
His defense was better than expected.
His passing / PG skills were uhh lower middle pack? Not terrible but he wasn't really creating anything for anything for anyone. Nor did he make anyone better by just being on the floor.
Some of that is being a rookie, some of it is an awfully long way to go. Some of it isn't great for a 2nd overall pick.
I get the lakers have LBJ, but i'd rather they bet starting Lonzo if i'm a laker fan. (If he's healthy). If he's going to make it he needs minutes and lots of them.

Kidd shot 2% better than him his rookie year...
His half court PG game needs but a lot of that is from the fact that no respects his drive and it's hard to create without that respect
I wish i could hate Lonzo more because he was a Laker but.. do we even know who is best between DSJ/Fox/Lonzo/Fultz/Frank yet?
rookie pg's are trash with few exceptions and i wouldn't blame anyone for taking Lonzo out of all those guys still.
