I'm actually not okay with paying $250 million or more to lock up Kyrie and Jimmy. Knicks fans he's all yours.
Frankman why you do this?
Frankman why you do this?
Why does Butler want to go to these three terrible teams.
Is it just Kyrie?
Kyrie is not that good...
I mean, whatever he wants to do, I guess.
Just seems weird considering Butler's persona of only caring about winning.

NY, NY, LA seems pretty self explanatory to me. He's probably on the "fuck Lebron" train like half the league which is why he left out LAL.
Mills said the Knicks weren't going to trade picks for players they can sign in free agency literally yesterday. I don't think they're gonna trade for Butler. Dude has like 3 good years left anyway he doesn't fit the Knicks timeline.
From what I understand, the lakers would have a difficult time trading anyway because we can’t include veteran salaries that are all tied up on one year deals until December.
By Doncicic Go To Posti wonder how this does outside the us. nobody knows who lebron is.China does and that's the only international market that matters.

Eh..
By alt sy Go To PostChina does and that's the only international market that matters. Why do people just make shit up?
Take Nike for example.
Nike's revenue in Europe was over 7 billions in 2015. 3 billions for Greater China. And since then, growth has been stronger in EU than China.
Also, people know LeBron. He's not Jordan. But most of my students here in France know his name, even when soccer overwhelms other sports.
By Doncicic Go To PostEh..You don't see big movies throwing in random Germans do you?
By Nelo Ice Go To PostLol How long till Thibbs is fired?. He’s been a monumental mistake as GM and coach. He's not surviving this season. At worst, he gets told to hit the bricks in April, but really, he should be gone tonight. You can't trust him to trade Butler.
That Nick Wiggins tweet is just the beginning. Once Butler is gone, everybody is gonna go on background to Shams about how much of a terrible teammate he is, how all the young guys can't stand him, etc. 20 year old millionaires have zero interest in being bullied by him and his lame duck coach. This season is going to be a riot. They might tank the first month Randy Wittman style just to get Thibs fired and Butler traded.

By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostThibs has no interest in trading Butler? LOL, fire him and move Butler.I mean, that's the endgame here anyway, so Glen should save some face and get it over with.
Butler isn't reporting for camp, by the way. He's making a public show of it and trying to pass the blame off on Karl Towns for his timing. In case anybody doubts what a dick he is to be around.
By DY_nasty Go To PostYou don't see big movies throwing in random Germans do you?
Huh?
Ah, i know what you mean. I'm just wondering how it will do and what type of movie it will be.
By Gaby Go To PostAlso, people know LeBron. He's not Jordan. But most of my students here in France know his name, even when soccer overwhelms other sports.
I mean sure, people heard his name and know what he plays but they don't know his story. He has almost zero presence in popular culture. I was just wondering how it will do in places like that.
By Doncicic Go To PostHuh?What I said lol
China's growing media impact ain't anything to throw away. I'm not even sure how people can discard that fact with how Jing Tian ends up in anything that wants the international stimulus package or how projects make up reasons to film in China either.
European markets arent handled anything like what's going in China - especially not over the past ten years. Even those new studios and the film release quota over there should spell that out.
So like, Euro market is nice and all but the Beijing Bucks are the new hotness
Edit: nm 🤣
Dallas Mavs HR was asleep at the wheel.

Fell asleep or did what a lot of places do and prioritize the company and not their employees. I mean eventually it can bite them back in the ass but it rarely does.
The report state that although most of Hyde’s misconduct was not brought to Cuban’s attention, he was aware of “several discrete and problematic incidents” spanning a number of years, including the presence of pornography on Hyde’s work computer, and made a “significant error in judgment” by not firing Hyde sooner.Wish I was surprised.
Regarding the domestic violence allegations made against Sneed, the report concludes that Cuban and other members of the Mavericks organization failed to properly investigate the allegations, choosing instead to “support Sneed despite this lack of information.” The report states that Cuban “failed to respond appropriately” when he decided to retain Sneed without a complete understanding of situation. Cuban would later learn of a second violent incident between Sneed and a coworker, at which point he, according to the report, made another “significant error in judgment” by not firing Sneed.
Overall, the report lets Cuban off the hook, citing a lack of evidence that he was ever told anything about Ussery’s misconduct and his physical distance from the business office
Monstars should just take the whole Golden State starting 5. The side story will be the Warriors struggling with being the worst team in the league overnight. Then Lebron loses in the end and says he's taking his talents to Disney.
By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostThen Lebron loses in the end and says he's taking his talents to Disney.I liked your initial idea, but this needs more workshopping
By Gaby Go To PostThe fuck are you guys saying. Movies make about as much money in Europe than in China.pretty sure most if not all movies in europe don't have anything resembling a film quota
afiak, only 34 western/us films can be released in china a year and a certain amount of those have to be imax/3D as well. extra bonuses if you use their studios during production as well. the quota has gone up every 5 years or so and it was gonna be eased again before the trump bs.
its not a fuck european countries thing, its a china's film industry and growing consumption through that media is growing like crazy thing and it will continue to do so. people want in now instead of later.
Mavs are lucky this Jimmy Butler bullshit is happening at the same time as the investigation findings come out.
It sucks it happened, but no one works for the team anymore and they've done a good job of cleaning it up. it really really sucks though.
the most questionable one was Cuban not firing the dude that beat his girlfriends, that was one he could have avoided, but the rest... if he really was never in the business office, which kinda makes sense... i guess he really didn't know, and that's the report said as well
happy that the bball side is all great dudes though.

By blackace Go To PostSpace Jam starring Curry would had made more sensehow you figure?
By unknown Go To Posthow you figure?Curry is probably the most popular player in world?
My wife, who is Chinese, thinks Kobe is still the most popular player in China with Curry being a distant 2nd.
But LeBron is popular too.
My wife also likes LeBron a lot more than Curry because she doesn't believe in evil.

Asia seems to love the G position... James is popular but in Japan they love Curry. Before that it was AI and Kobe.
By jar155 Go To PostButler to the Nets…why not? It's not like Golden State is going away yet.Considering the Wolves are totally over a barrel here, Brooklyn is probably the best deal they can make. Hopefully they can get like Levert, Hollis-Jefferson and a pick. (Christ, that's bleak.) Jimmy can go and bully D'Angelo Russell for a few years.
If I'm Presti I'm trying to see what I can do to get Butler to OKC. Butler cares a lot about winning, I can't see him saying no to an extension with OKC over location. Maybe a three team deal, send Schroeder to Phoenix, pick from OKC to Minny, A player from Phoenix to Minny, Butler to OKC?
Jazz have done a really nice job with branding these last few years.

T-Mac as well due to the Rockets.
LeBron is a big enough name outside of basketball. Sure he's not Kobe but who is?
I'm torn between spending the second weekend of November in San Francisco (and watching the Warriors play BK) or Salt Lake City (and watching the Jazz play the Celtics).
I'm flying from a work trip in San Diego so either flight should be pretty cheap. I actually have friends in SF and been there half a dozen times so I'd probably couch surf, but I've never done SLC and I'm interested in seeing some of the sights and hiking before it all gets torn down eventually.
