By diehard Go To PostThe money is taken after taxes, so it's actually probably closer to 15-20%.In some places it's upwards of 25-45% using that same logic /shrug
The point isnt really diminished.
By Random Ass Username Go To PostIt's still less than 9% of his income. As I said who knows what the rules are about proportion of income unless one of us is a family law attorney or judge.
He will make 300 mil before taxes... (assuming this was his last contract which it most likely isn't) and paying 258k a month for or 3 mil a year is about 10% of his current contact (not his extension) but for 18 years will equal 1/5 of what he made before taxes... and in reality will equal about 1/3 of what he made after taxes..
well the child support can be adjusted to current income, so when his career is over he can get it down. Supposedly it's a bitch to do though, didn't some ex-NBA player just go broke because of it?
Which bumps it up not more than what some non-custodial parents pay. As I said in terms of precedent and percentage of income we're all just tossing out conjecture about what amount is too much. It doesn't really matter how much the kids or she needs, it's well beyond that. i just fell down the rabbit hole, if this is Cali it's income shares model so:
The Income Shares Model is based on the concept that the child should receive the same proportion of parental income that he or she would have received if the parents lived together. From this I can assume it actually got negotiated down if anything.

He went there
Always double check with DT tweets (as they never seem real), apparently he had a night. I'm actually scared to scroll down and see the crossover of MAGA/Kobe stans.

The Clippers are reportedly finalizing a deal that will send Sam Dekker to the Cavs, and will waive Okaro White.
The Clippers will be sending away Dekker in order to open up a roster spot, so there might not be another player coming back to Los Angeles. Dekker will have a better opportunity for minutes in Cleveland with their being a massive hole to fill at the three in wake of LeBron James' departure, but it's unlikely he'll make much noise.
With the addition of Sam Dekker, the Cavs needed to clear a roster spot, so White got the cut. He might be able to snag a training camp deal somewhere, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him wind up in the G-League.
i'm surprised that's the first you heard of that!
that was one of the reasons why people were so hype for him coming out of college with the way he was emulating the Dream with such little relative experience

Dream started basketball at 15ish Embiid 16 or so their stories mirror each more than anything and that really hyped people
By blackace Go To PostDream started basketball at 15ish Embiid 16 or so their stories mirror each more than anything and that really hyped peopleIt's also, just not uncommon for bigmen in particular to start really late.
I think Amare` didn't start till he was 13 or so. And i know there are several other stories out there like that.
Thon Maker didn't start till he was 29.
By giririsss Go To PostIt's also, just not uncommon for bigmen in particular to start really late.A lot of guys like AD were playing basketball but weren't bigs yet dudes like Dream and Embiid hardly ever touched a basketball until they were almost adults which makes them insane
