By blackace Go To Postthat's the big thing is Luka kinda slow…
He's not though. He doesn't have elite NBA athletsism but he can move. I don't see how he's any slower than Harden. And as far as Rubio comparison Doncic is better than Rubio right now at 19. Not a little better either, watch that Eurobasket final from last year it wasn't even close.

Hezonja and Doncics games are pretty different and what they've acheived in Europe is not even remotely similar. Making that comparison just shows that you haven't been paying attention.

Ask how Bargnani looking these days. Rubio Stockton. Nobody even wanted KP lol

Not a little better either, watch that Eurobasket final from last year it wasn't even close. It's not really a comparison of who is better Rubio or Luka. But he is much slower than 1st quarter Harden... Harden has a great first step.

Honestly he is much more young Toni than Mario tho

By masud Go To PostYeah that certainly worked for the Lakers when they passed on KP…
KP once in a blue moon. Even then, he been injury prone since he came into the league
By blackace Go To PostKP about to miss a season and half tho…
And the American guy the Lakers regret drafting over KP has missed significant time too. Is getting injured a European thing now?
By Kuma Go To PostKP once in a blue moon. Even then, he been injury prone since he came into the league
The lack of success with European high lottery picks says more about the NBAs gap in international scouting than it does about the talent in Europe. There are plenty good European players they just get drafted later than they should by the Spurs.
And I wouldn't call KP injury prone. He never missed significant time before. He had some minor injuries that the Knicks were hyper cautious with, he complained about not being able to play every time. Tearing an acl for the first time is not indicative of anything (other than Ewings curse of course).
By diehard Go To PostI think the Spurs finding gems Internationally ended after Dragic, and that was a decade ago.The did resurrect the Career of Patty Mills.
By masud Go To PostAnd the American guy the Lakers regret drafting over KP has missed significant time too. Is getting injured a European thing now?Flopping to injury is a Euro thing.
But really it isn't exactly a scouting issue as much as contract issues... most guys are contracts in Europe and many NBA teams don't want to pay extra for an unproven product
By blackace Go To PostFlopping to injury is a Euro thing.Always found it weird that there was a cap on buyouts for draft picks. Seems like an odd protection.

By Branduil Go To PostI'm definitely higher on Bamba than Bagley.I think Bags has a chance to be a good player... Don't know if he is a good fit for Dallas tho..
By DY_nasty Go To Posti dont know what to think of bagley but i dont want himI'd be happy with Bags around the 7th or 8th pick for sure

I’m sure someone in the twitter thread brought up that infamous team Spain photoshoot.
Edit - I was wrong, just a few people arguing it’s a PR move even though he addresses that lol

Best coach we've had, hope he gets another gig soon. Was more on the players than him, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thinking "retire bitch" when he put noguiera out there and had the worst 2 min ever
