By Smokey Go To PostThis is exactly what I expected from my boy Kibner lol
I think as far as suburban sprawl is concerned, Houston is up there with LA. You would fit right in. It’s less humid and pot is legal. Lol
By Apollo Go To PostPeople don’t really understand how big the greater LA area is.
He got a damn good grasp geographically. Stayed in Long Beach, went as far East as Monterey Park for dim sum, went to K-Town, Hollywood and then Santa Monica and Griffith Park.

I live in Houston
LA is 503 sq mi....
Houston is 627
Sprawl is real
By Facism Go To PostGoing to have to check for bike rentals and trails when I'm there in September.Spend a day at Griffith Park. Trust me. You also get to see a large portion (but not all) of the metro area if you go up to the observatory. It's pretty ridiculous. And if you get there in time for sunset (around 7:03 PM last Sunday), and it goes well, it can be down right beautiful.
Well, before i arrive so I can everything sorted
Unfortunately, the sunset I got wasn't a great one. :(
There were a couple dudes who had cameras setup taking multiple pictures that consisted of 10 second exposures over the course of 3 hours. I wonder how that turned out...
By Facism Go To PostThank you for the suggestionNP. I'm not sure how bike friendly it is, but it is definitely worth spending time in.
Just had a look mate. Lots of trail and a comfortable 816 ft total elevation.
Just need to find a decent mountain bike rental and I'm sorted

That’s not the greater LA Area. That’s LA proper.
33,954 sq mi is the size of the Greater LA Area. It’s LA-Long Beach-Riverside.

I love that place. When I live in Northridge I would Lyft there all the time

Houston is one of the only comparable urban/suburban sprawls though. It reminded me a lot of LA, just flat. Ohh and stupidly humid lol

Hate humidity. The taint was not built to be swampy.
I'm still laughing that I ran into someone that grew up close to my old high school and knew it well enough to pronounce the name correctly. It feels like no matter where I go, I run into one of my peoples.

No incriminating evidence lol
The trail picks are rad. Venice picks just give me flashbacks of when the pot industry had just taken off and it was the only place to get a medical card reliably.
By Fenderputty Go To PostNo incriminating evidence lolThat's one of the reasons I didn't bring the camera when we went out! lol
e: I need to pick a handful of these and post them in the photography thread
