By Face it Tiger... Go To PostI need dat AD update. how long is he out for? That tweet is all the info we have.
By Kibner Go To PostDiallo playing center because AD is injured and Cousins is resting. This is going as well as you may have thought it would.
By LionPride Go To PostNot like we had a player like that or anything
Or coulda gotten George Hill in a sign and Trade
Nope
Not at all
Luke Ridnour isn't coming back anytime soon, sadly.
It bugs me that out of all the teams, Hill signed with the Kings. He's too talented to be wasting away in a mentorship position at this point in his career.
By rodeoclown Go To PostI've basically been reliving the Rubio trade every day since the season started and will continue to do so until this team gets another point guard as good as he is, but it really is baffling that Thibs says he wants to improve the defense and gets rid of the team's best defender. The only reason to trade Rubio is if he's really hellbent on running his offense through Wiggins (he is).
Thibs might be bad at talent evaluation. It's possible.
It has to be that, right? The only knock on Rubio is his floor spacing, but acquiring Teague and his mediocre jumpshot doesn't fix that at all. Kinda befuddled on what Teague does that Ricky doesn't.
Blake Griffin can do that, but a tiny brush by a guard will send him flying across the court.
Also good to see that the Clippers still flop like fish. #CoolTeam

What's it like to have a star player that isn't perpetually injured? I haven't known that feel since the NBA returned to New Orleans.

At least you have DMC until the end of the season.
Blake used to Mozgov people, now he has to poke with his off hand/elbow. The fact that he even goes for that is encouraging.
In other news, is D'angelo a starter in the league? 21 a game on 56 eFG, assists looking good as well.

Russell was always very talented. Just got drafted into a nightmare situation. Not sure if he's good enough to be a star at the most loaded position in the league, but he'll be a good player

Kinda befuddled on what Teague does that Ricky doesn't.Every move he made this summer was in service of building a team around Wiggins. He shipped out LaVine, he traded Rubio for air, signed a point guard that doesn't need the ball, then gave Drew $147M. He really believes that the dude is a superstar and I do not think history will look back fondly at this thought process.

Maybe he changed his game in the intervening years but if Thibs signed Teague to not soak up offensive possessions he's a dumbass.
By HasphatsAnts Go To PostTeague over dribbled a lot when he played in ATL. Maybe he changed his game in the intervening years but if Thibs signed Teague to not soak up offensive possessions he's a dumbass.Yeah, he's abominable at talent evaluation, but that's definitely why he signed Teague. He kept talking about his ability to be a spot up shooter, even though statistically he's not a good shooter. That's been borne out over the first few games here where Teague doesn't have the ball much.
Everything is Wiggins in isolation. I'd be shocked if his usage rate is under 30 by the end of this year. He just chews up so many Wolves possessions. Jimmy Butler is a vastly superior player and he has to sit back and watch Wiggins take countless 20 foot jump shots.

By diehard Go To Postthe only thing worse than our shooting right now is the Clippers home crowdCould be worse. Mike Smith could still be commentating.

Pels made this a game and that makes me happy.

So maybe Chris Paul wasn't the problem...the team identity is just to be as annoying as possible for the Clippers.
By ratcliffja Go To Post3-0. I just want to see how we do against decent competition now.First round loss, just like the playoffs last year.

Griffin is still a garbage can though.
