By Method Go To PostNever understood why they traded him so damn quickly.
Probably part of the sales pitch to the Ball family.
But looking at how things have shaken out, they could have flipped him for any number of players had they waited a few weeks into the season. I'm glad they pulled the trigger when they did.

Ok... this is getting weird in Philly now.
The agent for Philadelphia 76ers guard Markelle Fultz changed his explanation Tuesday night on the treatment the No. 1 overall pick has received on his right shoulder, revising his earlier statement that fluid was drained from it during the preseason.http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/21141852/philadelphia-76ers-rookie-markelle-fultz-had-cortisone-shot-shoulder
Haberstroh needs to do his House routine like he did with Isaiah's hip so we can find out what's really going on with him. /s

What the fuck is this shitshow? Is this his agent?
By IWMTB19 Go To PostKanter is going to get 30 rebounds in a game his team loses by 25.
Hassan Whiteside level stat stuffing.
By Gin & Phonics Go To PostCan #KnicksTape be a thing again?trolol. who is your team?
By s y Go To PostNets are better than the Knicks. Masud, how do you feel?
On the downside, we have given up about 500 pts in 4 games.

By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostIs Baker actually an NBA player?
people were hyping him up in realgm lol.
By rodeoclown Go To PostThe Wolves don't play good defense with Butler in the lineup, but without him, it's tragic.Yeah it is frustrating. They have the ability. The right coach too.

...bruh
By FreezerGeezer Go To PostYeah it is frustrating. They have the ability. The right coach too.Eh. I don't think you can ever count on Towns or Wiggins ever developing into even adequate defenders. They really lack awareness and instincts to become solid on that end. Teague is what I knew he was on defense (garbage).
By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostIs Baker actually an NBA player? On defense sure. If he could remember how to shoot (he could in college) he'd be a decent bench player.
By unknown Go To Posttrolol. who is your team?Lakers!
By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostIs Baker actually an NBA player?I'm still not convinced. He looks he should be working at a Zumiez.
By DY_nasty Go To PostRon Baker just needs to get his confidence back
He looks like he needs to train to fight Danny LaRusso at the all-city tournament.
By Kuma Go To PostLakers fans yall know Jaylen better than Ingram right?
Tatum better than Fultz
Did you know...
Last year over on that other forum ran by that other dude, there were Duke fans ready to kick Tatum off the team. Hasphat knows.
Not me. I always believed.
By pilonv1 Go To PostI feel bad that Rodeo only got one day to enjoy a successful teamYou can't hurt what's already dead.
I don't know, isn't this basically what I expected from this team anyway? Awful defense and an offense that suffers a lot from not having a true facilitator. And the first three Wiggins games of the year were basically the first month of last season for him, where he's hitting these bad looks, but ultimately the part where they're bad attempts catch up to him. His game (long two point jumpers) isn't conducive to him being an efficient player.
You're not wrong. I think athleticism alone though they should be better than they are now. Still, I have to remind myself they are both younger than myself even. As you say they may not have the tendencies to be top level defenders but improvement really is a must.
By HasphatsAnts Go To PostTatum’s p good. Who knew
Danny knew.
Too bad Teague isn't a great defender or facilitator. Can't help but think how much better they would be with a PG like that.

Sound like you are describing a player that was already on their team..

Or coulda gotten George Hill in a sign and Trade
Nope
Not at all
Aaron Gordon is actually good, just playing for Orlando got his head all fucked up with this combo forward shit.
Trade him.
Trade him.
I've basically been reliving the Rubio trade every day since the season started and will continue to do so until this team gets another point guard as good as he is, but it really is baffling that Thibs says he wants to improve the defense and gets rid of the team's best defender. The only reason to trade Rubio is if he's really hellbent on running his offense through Wiggins (he is).
Thibs might be bad at talent evaluation. It's possible.

Indeed. 2014 is a weird draft year. Injuries were rampant among a lot of the higher draft picks.
Nurkic having all the great looks early on this season but they're just slightly off. I think he'll clean that up soon.

As you say they may not have the tendencies to be top level defenders but improvement really is a must.To defend Towns a little bit, defense as a big is the hardest to learn. They have way more responsibilities than the other positions and also need to basically quarterback the defense since the offense is in front of them (as opposed to behind the point guard).
