By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostHas anyone straight up asked the dude what's going on with his form? Is he on Twitter/Insta? Post-game interview? He doesn't seem to be active out side of the odd advertisement on his instagram.
Only thing I've learned about him through the media/social media is that he loves Chick fil A and Jason Concepcion states he's afflicted with round face disease.
By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostHas anyone straight up asked the dude what's going on with his form? Is he on Twitter/Insta? Post-game interview?Yes, he was interviewed about it. He said that he feels pain when lifting his shoulder past a certain point but that every doctor and trainer he's been to can't figure out what is causing it.

Wow
By rodeoclown Go To PostWhen LaVine gets back, he'll be worth watching, assuming he's able to be at mostly the same form as last year pre-injury.I like the people. Also, I don't think LaVine will be anything special. He'll be off the team by next year.
I just can't believe people would want to willingly watch the Wolves. Especially when the team is uglier to watch than even last year with the lack of offensive moment and all the Wiggins isolation calls.

This should end well

Pls
Cavs? why?

Bledsoe trade offers are probably all quite unequal value at this point. I'd even be surprised if the Suns are able to get Greg Monroe out of this. Good chance they dump him on another go-nowhere lottery team (Sacramento, Detroit, Brooklyn). He could go back to the Clippers, but I'm not sure what they'd give up.

You move heaven and Earth to get Greg Monroe.
By Loki619 Go To PostHey Greg Monroe is superstar talent according to a gaf posterMonroe does have value though. He is a pretty great 6th man, especially come playoff time. I think the Bucks would be better off keeping him than picking up Bledsoe and also effectively cutting Brogdon's usage. Bledsoe isn't a good enough upgrade to warrant that tradeoff.
Bledsoe to Detroit for Reggie Jackson and a pick works.
By Loki619 Go To PostHey Greg Monroe is superstar talent according to a gaf posterKawhi was also maybe a top 20 player according to someone from GAF....never forget
By Schlonky Go To PostBigger problem in Phoenix:Well, they did just fire their head coach, their player development coach, and another assistant coach.
The picks or the player development (coaching) of those picks?

Well, sure. But is that going to improve things, or are the players themselves flawed?
http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/21141852/philadelphia-76ers-rookie-markelle-fultz-had-fluid-drained-shoulder
Here we go.
Fluid/Inflammation in the joint means that there may be some injury/irritation in the joint causing pain. Issues raising his arm may indicate some issue in some of the muscles which make up the rotator cuff. According to the article, this is the second time he's having it drained since the season started. If he's having fluid build up this quickly, then that's a real issue.
Hope they get to the bottom of this.

Makes zero sense 😣
Risk of further injury < Benefit from NBA game experience ?
That's all I got.

Can't say I see the team/physician's logic here. If his pain is severe to the point where he changed his form shooting and isn't even able to lift his arm above certain points, I don't see what is to be gained by trotting him out there.
Again, It's tough to say what is actually going on without knowing what his scans show and what his exam looks like, but this is just a strange look for the team considering their recent history with Simmons and all the measures they've taken with Embiid over the past 2 years.

Lower body vs. upper body injuries, though.
By Schlonky Go To PostLower body vs. upper body injuries, though.Correct but protecting the injured player from all this unneeded (?) scrutiny should be priority regardless of injury location, no?
Also, Fultz's shoulder is just as vital for his game as Ben's foot and Embiids knees/feet/ankles/cornrows/everything are to theirs.
Hinkie let Embiid sit out two years, Hinkie didn't die for this.
Shut Fultz down for a couple of months, Philly.

We are doing well in Phoenix. We are on course for our 9 wins this season. They should have traded EB over the summer. Why wait til now when his value is at negative a billion?
I don't disagree that it seems strange. Just playing a bit of Devil's Advocate.
I do remember Avery Bradley playing large parts of a season with a shoulder that would pop in and out of the socket and they kept trotting him out there. Didn't seem like there was a lot of fear of doing permanent damage in that case. He eventually did end up getting surgery and has been fine since.

I'm so confused, Philly shut Simmons down and shut Embiid for two years but they want risk this with Fultz? whole thing is just baffling.
Oh, so NOW commish comes over.
PHX drafted super super young players. It's really too early to tell on some of them.
Bender isn't even 20 yet!

Easy - they were actively trying to tank those years. I'm guessing they think they have a chance to make some noise this year. I don't think 76 fans would stomach another season of shit.

I didn't know! Would have sooner.
I'm all for drafting young players and letting them do their thing. I don't mind a 10 win season (I've upgraded them a win) as long as they try hard. The first couple of games were a disaster.
By Mole Go To PostI'm so confused, Philly shut Simmons down and shut Embiid for two years but they want risk this with Fultz? whole thing is just baffling.OK, that part wasn't me playing Devil's Advocate. There really is a difference between how an injury to a Basketball player's shoulder is going to be handled vs how a hip/leg/knee/foot would be. The stresses the sport causes on those body parts are not at all comparable.
