First triple double for Simmons, kid is ridiculous. Now i can watch Spurs-Raptors, hopefully it's good.
And there it is, first win, first triple double for Simmons. He's the franchise. It's going for the cliche, but he's a remarkably smart player, it's obvious. Embiid is in Embiid land when he gets the ball in contrast.
By DY_nasty Go To Postyal really ain't ready for me have horncats brehs back up in here lmao

When is your first Suns game, I'll mark the calendar.

Mills with the shameless flop.
EDIT: WTF AT THAT CALL ON IBAKA
Are these refs drunk? How do you suddenly start making calls that could only be possible if guys weighed 3 lbs.?

Huh... Mavs somehow not getting blown out lol. DSJ is fun to watch though. Glad his knee isn't too messed up. I understand they want to take it slow with him since he's so young
By Omzz Go To PostBullshit
That was a pretty terrible call on Ibaka.
By chandlerparsons Go To PostSince when?
The award hadn't been won by a sub-50 win team in 35 years prior to Westbrook. Now do we treat that as an oddity in history, or the new norm? If it's the latter, likeability and numbers are all you need.
In my opinion, It is an oddity based on recency bias and a narrative.
That year, Harden or Kawhi really should have been MVP. The media was just so enamored with that stat line that they overlooked whether or not YNB improved his teammates, like Harden and Leonard.
And looking at the OKC games so far, Russ still hasn't really learned from last year. He's not changing his game or who he is. That's okay. But his team won't truly improve unless he does something about it.

yeah for sure. throw IT in the mix too, led the celts to the 1 seed and went off like clockwork in the 4th quarter. if russ didn't average double digit rebounds for the season he doesn't win and let's be real some of those rebounds were fraudulent as all hell.
By Colonel Nasty Go To PostWith all the new peeps is CRUD back yet?
Call me when CRUD is back
Came back, copped an insta-ban for going full hotep and then some.
I felt like the idea of him averaging a triple double for a season but if he had say 2 less rebounds per game he wouldn't win it was dumb as hell. In the end the triple double wasn't the reason i felt like he deserved it but how nuts he was in the clutch, especially towards the end of the season.
I was Harden most of the season but Westbrook's heroics in the clutch swung it for me, the triple double had no real impact on me because Harden had like 8 rebounds himself and the argument then becomes is two extra rebounds per worth more than 10 extra wins? nah.
But that was the storyline the media wanted to push so it is what it is.

Klays first dozen or so games were terrible. Needs to adjust to the pace
By chandlerparsons Go To PostGtfo outta here Parsons.
There needs to be NBA games on national TV more days of the week. Maybe even on NBC. With a certain theme written by one John Tesh.
By rodeoclown Go To PostDirk got me wondering if he can even play anymore.
It's brutal watching him "run". Needs to be on a contender playing 10-15mpg as a shot up shooter.
Yo Hyper, how is Mbah a Moute getting 30 minutes tonight? Did Morey's stat sheet misprint his 3 percentage as 40 instead of 30?
