So hernangomez on the nuggets is sitting out tonight and so is brogdon on the bucks, i would really be down for brogdon
By IWMTB19 Go To PostThis is a pretty epic three game start from the Suns.Historic for sure, shit fell apart faster than neogaf
By Cheebo Go To PostI dont get that trade for the Knicks at all. They'd be fools to trade two of their young guys for a 27-28 year old. Knicks arent a win now team.
Steve Francis
Jalen Rose
Tracy McGrady
Rasheed Wallace
Derrick Rose
Joakim Noah
Penny Hardaway
Antonio McDyess
Etc., etc.
Bledsoe as a stopgap 2 year PG to mentor Frank would be fine. Trading Frank in the deal would make 0 sense.
Classic Knicks move

By kjack Go To PostWhat seed does Giannis need to hit, to run away with the MVP? Top 5 will do it or does he need 3?if westbrook can get mvp with not even a top 5 team, i'm sure giannis will be fine
By thekad Go To PostHow good are the Nuggets with Bledsoe?Pretty good? But is that a move they make when they think Jamal Murray is a point guard to invest in? (I don't think he's a point guard at all, but I digress.)
By kjack Go To PostWhat seed does Giannis need to hit, to run away with the MVP? Top 5 will do it or does he need 3?
To win it? 2 seed at a bare minimum and around 50 wins, it's the reason i don't think he wins it i simply don't think the team is good enough for him to get enough wins.

Yeah, even though Jokic runs the offense, Murray isn't a point guard for a legit playoff team in the West. I might put them in the Spurs, Rockets, Thunder tier or just below with the Wolves if they add Bledsoe.

A couple of wins over .500 and a top 10ish league-wide finish is all he'd need after that.

You talking about Russ? because as we all know the MVP is majorly a narrative thing for the media to push, he averaged a triple double and took OKC to a 6th seed in the much vaunted West after losing KD in the summer.
All the things contributed to the MVP for Russ, i feel like being in the East works against Giannis here and thus IMO he'll need to get a better record and higher seed because East.
By The Frankman Go To Post*sees the amount of new Lakers fans*well we needed a Knicks-west to balance our Knicks-east
can we have a do over on this NBA-GAF migration thing

That would be a negative, sir.

Yeah, nobody from the East is getting taken seriously unless they absolutely dominate like nobody else. I'm thinking top 3 seed and crazy personal numbers.

No one is checking the MVP box if you don't grind the East into dust.

Oh, look at Mr. Psychey McPsychic over here. Let me borrow your crystal ball, Professor X.
By pilonv1 Go To PostMVP is Kawhi's to loseNot if he ends up dealing with injuries all year.
Maybe Harden finally gets one this year. Got screwed last year.
By pilonv1 Go To PostMVP is Kawhi's to lose
If he gets healthy quickly i could see it, only reason he didn't win it last year was because Harden and Westbrook had insane statistical seasons and pretty much every MVP candidate i can think of ( except Giannis) had other all stars join them.
I am here for Spurs/Raptors. Got to see a few players warm up. Green and Rudy Gay werent making shit
So apparently the Bucks offer for Bledsoe is Maker/Monroe/pick and the Nuggets are predictably offering Mudiay + other stuff (presumably a pick and salary filler).

Bledsoe isnt worth more than a lats second.

The award hadn't been won by a sub-50 win team in 35 years prior to Westbrook. Now do we treat that as an oddity in history, or the new norm? If it's the latter, likeability and numbers are all you need.
Rubio is on a better contract, wasn't asking for a trade and still only got dealt for a top 14 protected (probably #22-#26) pick, and the Bucks will give up Maker and a pick? take that shit and run.
By s y Go To PostNo way I'm trading Maker. Dude could be scary good on defense. You gotta give up talent to get talent. The 3 players on the Bucks that make sense as the centerpiece in a Bledsoe trade are Brogdon or Jabari or Thon. One of them would have to go for a deal to get done.
Bledsoe isnt worth more than a lats second.
Suns are in a position of weakness. They should only be getting a trash player for the salary match and pick no better than a pick that starts in the 20's
If Monroe went to phoenix I imagine they'd work out a buyout. He doesn't fit and won't want to be there.

So approximately how many minutes into the game will Wall be throwin up blood against Lonzo while getting a quintuple double and Gortat screening him into next year?
