Knicks gonna Knick 😫

I thought they were trying to limit the amount of back to backs this season to prevent resting players. Cavs have three in the first month!

By EvilChameleon Go To PostI thought they were trying to limit the amount of back to backs this season to prevent resting players. Cavs have three in the first month! It's just a weird and unavoidable artifact of the existing 82 game schedule. Pretty sure every team has stretches like that.

They played him for 6 minutes in the 4th quarter last game when they were up by 30 and I was like "yeah but why tho?"
By Face it Tiger... Go To PostPoeltl power, kyoto.
I'm all for it, but presumably they kept trying to trade JV because they thought Serge was really a modern C. I don't know if the evidence really supports that, but we'll probably find out at some point during the season.
By Randolph Freelander Go To PostThe Celtics opened the season on a back to back.In what theoretical universe tho

The flat one.
By The Frankman Go To PostIsn't this Bruno's year? Two years away from two years away was 4 years ago right?
Yeah but it turns out the end of that sentence was "...2 years away from people realizing he's a bust."
He played well in the D-League finals last year, but he came into his last year shooting poorly and the team saying things like they have a zero tolerance policy for attitude problems with him.
I've moved on. Bruno is old and broken. OG is the new hotness.
By Twstr709 Go To PostAny other Pelicans fans here? *crickets*I chime in occasionally, Kibner is the main contributing Pelicans fan though. Also happens to be one of the more knowledgable posters so it adds up to like having at least 2 normal Pelicans fans. So I guess at least there is that.
By Twstr709 Go To PostAny other Pelicans fans here? *crickets*There are about 3-4, but usually only 2 post.

can we have a do over on this NBA-GAF migration thing

Yo, although i'm new.
By thinwhitemint Go To PostHey, is there room for a Pacers fan in here?I dunno. You need to know that there are two kinds of people... those who like Kristaps Porzingis, and those who don't like Kristaps Porzingis.
which are you?

One of the guys scrambling to help code the place is a Pelicans fans. Good dude.

You're ok in my book. Welcome to SLAENT Forums NBA Thread! I think we used to have a few Pacers fans but haven't seen them post much this season.

Not much to post about this year to be honest.. Oladipo seems like he's going to be inconsistent at best, but I love his energy (and being an IU grad, it's great to have him back home). I like what I've seen from Sabonis so far too. It's good to have zero expectations and just enjoy a young squad.
Speaking of IU.. is there a college basketball community here as well?
Feel bad for Chicago fans, their starting lineup was Jerian Grant, Justin Holiday, Paul Zipser, Lauri Markennan, and Robin Lopez.
That is near worse than trust the process sixers lineups...

I love RoLo more than his talent level deserves and I am a believer in Lauri for at least a couple years.
By EvilChameleon Go To PostAlright, this is good.
Wade is smarter (and more humble) than I thought. He should do better against bench mobs as well.
By Truphenom Go To PostDon’t know why they thought he’d be good as a starter next to Rose anyway.LeBron needed his caddy and thought he still had something left. JR spaces the floor much better.

Anytime you can have no 3pt shooting in the backcourt, you have to do it.

When Booker decides to get 70 again.

The only way I can see that this meeting went down:
Suns players: Eric, why don't you want to be here?
Bledsoe: Y'all suck.
Triano: Go home.
Bledsoe for Parker an something would be fantastic.
Bledsoe and Giannis on the same team would be amazing

Is Phoenix's medical staff still legit? Jabari's knee could use some TLC.
