I mean, you had AD and DMC doing the rebounding, running the offense, primary floor spacers, and defending. It really felt like it was 2 v 5.

They really miss Hill on defense and he can easily replace his backups' offense with little, if any fall off.
The offense just dies if people stop running and setting off-ball screens. As long as bodies move, the offense hums along. This is largely because the only two healthy above-average passers are Cousins and Jrue. There is no one with a good enough dribble to consistently penetrate inside on dribble drives and, even if there was, there are no reliable 3 pt shooters to take advantage.
Which is why all that off-ball movement is key for opening things up at the rim.

Rumors of the owner committing some kind of sexual assault again, members over there started to pressure him to speak on it and he said his statement was 'forthcoming'. Apparently mods were given his side of the story and most of em quit. Gaf devolved into spam and shitposting due to lack of moderation, site got hammered with traffic and hasn't been up since last night.

As a Pelicans fan i'm incredibly interested by this Lakers game, so far i have felt we have played to the level of our competition. Against Memphis we looked like 1-5 lottery pick team, while against Golden State we looked like a 6-8 seed playoff team. Annoying thing is if we suck the scenario will be that AD and Boogie doesn't work etc etc when the reality is the help just majorly sucks.
