Even with Hayward, and a slightly better IT in Kyrie, the team is worse defensively compared to last year while much of the rest of their conference upgraded offensively.
If Boston's front office didn't have blue balls and got two of Jimmy Butler/Paul George/Gordon Hayward and kept Bradley, that team would have been clearly better than their iteration now. And they had every opportunity to get that done in the offseason but didn't, and chose to harbor ill will instead.
Boston's been pretty fraudulent in the playoffs and this current iteration isn't doing them any favors either.
